No one knows just where the being which calls itself Mephistopheles comes from, but it is most certainly not that creature described in the familiar stories.  Wherever it is that Mephisto dwells, he possesses the ability to manifest at any point or place in time.

Choosing to present himself as a mischievous ghost, Mephistopheles has the ability to decide when and where he is seen, almost always.

Jonathan had met many interesting individuals in his lifetime, some were very calm and quiet– some were not however. He’s met ghosts, humans, meta humans, aliens, goddesses, demons, and so on. His life was… chaotic at best when it came to meeting new people– and knowing his luck it would continue on such a hectic streak, whether he wanted it to or not. This time was no exception.

Despite the fact he was face to face with a demon, Jonathan truly didn’t care. He was the master of fear– not to mention no longer could really fear anything in his waking moments even if he wanted to. “I didn’t expect to have to deal with something like this today… Maybe next week, but not today.” He mumbled crossing his arms over his chest.

  Oh yes--

Word of the good doctors research has made it’s way to him, rest assured.  Mephisto comes bearing good will and clicks his tongue with dainty dissatisfaction to be scornfully met.  It would seem that the doctor is familiar with his kind, enough so not to be perturbed by his eerie entrance from the wall across from him. 

With a pouty huff, Mepisto sweeps across the floor with big, grand gestures. 

“What an uneager greeting Doctor Crane!” Comes the saccharine voice, all candied apple and sugary sweet-- laced on amaranthine lips and dripping with a smile.  One that stretches ear to ear.  “You are a studied man, dear Doctor-- Let me introduce myself.” 

     “My name is Mephistopheles.         And I come to you in good will!”

Everyone always theorizes about the possible dark and dramatic endings to kuro and I’m just thinking, wouldn’t it be funny if it was the complete opposite? The final twist is something really lighthearted. Like it turns out the whole thing has been them playing a fantasy game, sort of d&d style, and making up the story with their characters in Ciel’s living room on a rainy day. When characters die it’s because they had to go home. Lau’s been missing because he’s in the kitchen getting snacks. The plot sometimes seems like it isn’t going anywhere because they’re just making it up as they go along. The lighter arcs are when soma and Lizzy are in charge, the darker ones are mainly due to Ciel being a massive edgelord. Vincent is annoyed that they killed him off right away because Ciel didn’t want to play with his dad, so he keeps popping in to have flashback moments, dragging his friend deidrich with him. Sebastian isn’t even a demon, he’s just Ciel’s older brother that Ciel insisted on being a demon and doing everything he asks. And at the end there’s flashback scenes to them playing out major scenes from throughout the story.

I made this guide off the notes I made- there are two of the puzzles I had to look up the answers to, the others I kept notes for.  Since I’m not playing the game while making this i’m not 100% sure that the two nursery ones aren’t backwards.  If I discover so later I’ll edit them lol.
