‘Love Shot’

That was the last straw.

Maybe Raymond hadn’t been the most sensible guy in the world, and maybe he could have treated most of the women that got into his life a little better, but still there was no reason for Fairia to break into his place out of the blue like that. What did he do to deserve this? ... He preferred not to have an answer, actually. 

The shock and fright as he opened his front door to the white-haired woman waving at him from his couch fueled his decision to report the stalker once and for all, fleeing after slamming the door shut. He still cared for her and everything, but enough was enough. It hadn’t been long since they broke up so yeah maybe she was still having problems to... Move on, but this was too much.

Barging into the police station nearby, he stomped all the way to the first officer in sight - that happened to be a pretty blonde lady... No time for that, Ray, this is a serious issue.

“Hi..... I’d like to file a complaint against a stalker....... I fear for my life, ok?”

Finley wandered the new town, expression glum and eyes downcast. He had said some things to Xavier that he knew weren't very nice, and in his shame, had slipped away and caught a bus to any unfamiliar place to get away.

He normally wouldn't have done something so reckless, but it was only for a few hours, anyway...

Unseen to others, Walter walked alongside him, occasionally looking up at his troubled master and whining. Finley absentmindedly patted the ghostly retriever's head, keeping an eye on his surroundings.

" Yer a pretty dandy man to hang 'round with! I really enjoy talkin' to you, even if it's just small and short chitchat. And even though you're, like, a few years younger than me, you're sorta like a caring older brother t'me. Kinda like a grandfather, too? Even during our little scuffles and fights that ... get a /little/ bit violent, I know I can count on you to resuscitate me! Hugs n' kisses. "

A--ah...? Like an older brother... That doesn’t sound good...! It’s not right for brothers to fight their sisters, especially not so... Intimatelyheehee.

... I feel that for us, in our circumstances, we may not be much like siblings at all. Friends, certainly! But siblings as a concept belies a certain... Barrier. Oh dear, do you feel a barrier with me...?

    “ Oh boy ... this is bad ... ” With a shake of his head, the animal caretaker could do little to deny that he felt an affection for animals. They were the friends that he so scarcely had, he confined with them, and they did the same, in their own sort of way ... or, well, Tabasa believed so, anyways. Though, he wondered dearly how on Earth this sheep of his, whom were usually fine out to graze, had gotten a hold of Yumi’s wonderfully cocoa cowboy hat ... and was deciding to make a feast of it.

      It’s rim, chomped upon and likely unable be prepared, was still held in the sheep’s tight mouth, but was dropped on the command of his caretaker — and with that, he began to frantically worry if he should attempt to fix the mistake or confront Yumi herself.

Dogma liked to consider himself at least somewhat friendly with most of the townspeople but Yumi was one of those who simply continued to be a mystery to him. With Cody having ran off again with Russell  to do er... something, maybe today would be a good day to remedy the fact. Having finished his daily prayer, Dogma headed out for the day. Lucky enough for him Yumi seemed to be on one of her daily walks to assure the safety of the town.

“Ah! Yumi, if you do have a bit after your patrol today, would you perhaps have time for a bit of a talk? Nothing is wrong, I just wanted to perhaps get to know you better.”
