Step 2 is not fun for Huayin; her bestfriends refuse to get along with each other, her crush is avoiding her, her mama isn't home enough, and she has to deal with the curse of being popular. At times, she really feels like she's living too many different lives and losing track of which personality is real.

She likes the attention that comes with being the "popular girl," but if it was really up to her, she wouldn't bother with most of the extras anyway.
