Yesterday I was driving with the thought of what if i suddenly die. It was a scary thought, to die such an inconsequential death. In my past, death was something I owned, it was in my hands clawing into my skin, it was in my breath drowning underwater. Now to think death would take me up on a roadside without my permission - it was scary. What have I done with my life? How dare death touch me before i have something of my own (a book preferably, something i could proudly own), even if it means to write my own death?

While the thoughts were driving me to madness, a woman offered me to pick her up and drop her to a place (yes she offered, that was an offering to me and not an ask, it was an offering i was very delighted with). I took her through the wrong streets before dropping her off at the right location. She wished me wellness on dropping her off. And that moment felt more kinder than ever, making my soul offer death a chance to take me away. I owned something now, her wish of wellness for me. I can rest now. Preferably in peace.
