wow uhhh i managed to glitch a rental lot into somehow partially being a residential lots? it broke a lot of stuff until i could figure out how to put it back be careful in tartosa, on rental lots in general, and/or if you’ve got mods that mess with lot types. im not sure what all contributed to this happening, but it started after i placed a residential lot from the gallery on the rental lot in tartosa, made a family in CAS, and then moved them in with free real estate on the family lived on the lot but in build/buy and on the world map, the lot was considered a rental. many parts of the UI broke entirely, and loading into build/buy and the world map took significantly longer. I do have lot trait mods which may have added to the effects, but this was just with a residential/rental mash up so im not sure its entirely related

sims team why do the palettes for jungle adventure look so nice but do not match across the items like, AT ALL.

the pure white swatch on tthe wall column facade is so good but no matching colors ;~;

perhaps not the most elegant of recolors, but I made a couple for a sort of coat of arms for the Cedora family. Considering renaming them since I’m still in the planning stages and I honestly just got the name from a random name generator.

The direction I’d like to take this all is starting to take form though! And not just the castle I’m building, though that’s certainly getting there-

For Cedora (name pending), I’m going for an Art deco / Steampunk theme. Lots of gold, white, and black, with warm undertones. I’m going to need more gears and pipes.....

Cedora is going to be mainly human, but have lots of travelers and inter mixing of cultures I think. I’d like there to be a nation for dragons (forgotten hollow, intended to be a small spooky kingdom), faefolk (willow creek, for sylvan glades), and elves (glimmerbrook because thats going to be a pain to build i bet)

Henford-on-Bagley would be a nice second nation for humans, though I’m not sure which world I want Cedora to have broken off from - San Myshuno was my first thought, and makes it a little easier to have in the background while using other worlds to build, plus gives a sort of interesting war of aesthetics being modern and sleek in comparison to what I’m thinking for Cedora.

Brindleton Bay and Windenburg will also eventually be built in, im just not sure what yet. I’m definitely going to build a better magic college in the magic realm too

alright, kicking off this royalty playthrough with these two! Estevot (left) has recently been estranged from the rest of his family for getting engaged with a commoner. Angered by the nobility’s actions, a small piece of the kingdom he hails from broke off and has become an independent city-kingdom. Together with Tristan (right) they hope to turn the new kingdom of Cedora into a paradise.
