We already know water is a good offering, but honestly, a lot of the lists leave out a bunch of water types. I would know I looked at as many as I could find on here and on other sources. This list will be updated when I find more information or a new type of water that hasn’t been listed here.
Disclaimer: I have not included waters from closed religions/cultures/practices. If I do have one listed please let me know and I will remove it from the list or make a note about it. Please be respectful to other cultures if it’s closed to you. Don’t be a baby about it. No means No.

☀️sunrise is the best time for: healing, positivity, happiness, anti-anxiety/depression, spirituality, self care/love, air magic, cleansing, soft energy/ positive energy amplifier, truth spells, protection, and peace
☀️sunrise associations: citrine, lemon, peaches, ginger, orange, morning dew, orange calcite, coffee, bergamot, lime, earl grey, mint, sage, cinnamon, grapefruit, morning glory, marigold, saffron, calendula, daylily, daisy, black tea, and frankincense
☀️tips and things to try:
🌞yoga (especially sun salutations!)
🌻sunbathe in the sunrise to cleanse and charge with positive energy
🌞if you can’t wake up before/during sunrise, just leave your window blinds open to help you wake up naturally and/or to charge in the sunlight while you’re sleeping
🌻this is a great time for tea and coffee magic
🌞this is a great time to charge stones, especially sun-sensitive stones. (Here’s a post on solar stones)
🌻listen to and charge with soft or acoustic music
🌞 spend some time outside, take some deep breaths of fresh air, enjoy the birds chirping, flowers, dew, fog, and the beautiful colors in the sky that sunrise brings

🌊Attracting Water Fairies In The Wild🌊
>Drawing close to water fairies is first a matter of tuning into where they are likely to be. This is not hard; Any stretch of water that you find alluring is sure to be the habitat of fairies. They can be found on a deserted beach, where the waves curl onto the shore, or swimming out on the ride. They haunt lonely stretches of rivers and lakes, and linger by springs. Trust your intuition- if you feel they are there, they will be close by.
💧 Method 💧
Before you go looking for water sprites, sip a special tea made from kelp and organic green tea. If you do not like the taste, just drink a little, to harmonize your body with the fairy beings that you are seeking.
Attune yourself to Nature and to the waters by really being there. Spend time alone with the elements, looking with the eyes of a child, playing in the shallows,skipping stones, and running your hands through the ripples. Try not to let your mind wander into thoughts about your work or family concerns- be totally, consciously present in the moment.
If you can play an instrument, bring it to the water’s edge and play a tune, for water fairies are especially attracted to music. If you can sing, let your voice travel over the waves. It is important to strike the right note here- both literally and metaphorically. Be realistic about your talents; don’t spoil things by disharmony. On the other hand, if you know you are really good at music, don’t show off, because some fairies can be jealous.
Help aquatic animals, such as otters, and water birds, to please the fairies, or clean,clear, and tend a specific stretch of water and its plant life. If you are engrossed in watching the play of fish or frogs, you will be bringing just that kind of total attention to the here-and-now that is conducive to seeing fairies.
Look out around you for any signs that fairies are close by and consider them seriously. For instance, a curiously shaped stone or shell may be a fairy gift. Strange ripples in the water may be caused by a fairy presence. That movement you see from the corner of your eye is sure to be a fairy. Use your other senses too. What sounds are made by the rushing or lapping of the waters? Are they fairy voices? Linger on shores and banks, and sooner or later you will be blessed by fairy contact.

I grew up hearing the phrase “you never stick with anything, what’s the point” a lot. I’ve always been attracted towards seemingly disconnected interests, and gone through phases of being really into something. But eventually my interest would fade and I would move onto something else.
Or at least that’s always how it’s been phrased for me, by others. Now I realize that my interest for the old thing didn’t fade so much as my interest for something new outshined it, and that’s vastly different.
I was always made to feel bad about it, with every abandoned endeavour I was told I needed to stop starting things if I wasn’t going to stick with them. I was told I was wasting time and money picking up these random interests and abandoning them after a year.
So eventually, I stopped picking things up. I told myself “what’s the point, I’m going to give up in a year anyway”. Even worse, I started dismissing every new interest, because I had no way of knowing if my interest was “real” enough or just another passing phase. I stopped trying new things, I stopped looking up stuff that piqued my curiosity, and having chronic depression made it really easy to leave everything on the dirty floor of neglected ideas. The more they piled up, the more depressing it was. All these things that could be nice, but I just can’t take care of them.
I realize now how bullshit that kind of thinking is. So what if I stopped doing karate after a year? That’s one more year of karate than most people I know. And in that year I learned discipline, I learned to listen to a teacher, something I had never done before in all my years of private education. I learned the true meaning of respect, that it’s something you do out of faith at first and maintain as it’s reciprocated, not something you do blindly and regardless of how you’re treated.
It gave me the foundation for the determination and grounding I needed to practice yoga. Another year. Not enough to be good at it maybe, but again a year more than most people I know and a year that is not lost, but gained. I learned balance, I learned to listen to my body, I learned how to let go of emotional tightness through physical stretching.
And then iaido, only a few weeks because I couldn’t afford to keep going. The year of yoga I had done a couple years previous had given me a better starting point than the other newcomers to the class. I already had balance, I had strength in my legs and I had better posture. In those months I learned the importance of precision, the true definition of efficacy, the zen state that is incessant repetition.
Did I practice long enough to get good at iaido, and yoga, and karate? No. Of course not. It takes years to become proficient and decades to master any of those things, but I learned other skills and those skills were an invaluable part of my growth both spiritually and emotionally. Likewise for my forays into painting, sewing, graphic design, film. I’m a photography student now heading into my second year of school, and every single second of practice I have in those other disciplines has given me more experience in those areas and made learning easier.
Skills carry over. They intersect and connect in ways that are sometimes unexpected. Nothing is ever lost, experience is never a waste of time or worthless or stupid. Allow your focus to wander, reflect on what you learn, and consider how you can keep using it in other aspects of your life. Stop telling people their interests aren’t worth their time.

Yes the painting has quite the history behind it! While posing for the work, Elizabeth lay floating in a bath of water, with oil lamps underneath the bath for some heating. However, Rossetti was too focused on his work to notice that the oil lamps had gone out, and Siddal never complained about the water getting colder and colder. She got very ill from this incident and a doctor had to be called on multiple occasions, which Siddal’s father forced Rossetti to pay for.
I touched on her illness briefly in my short post on her, although we don’t absolutely know the exact reason behind her illness, the issues in their marriage would have certainly exacerbated her ill health at the very least.
We can clearly see from her poems how Elizabeth struggled with depression, her failing health, and the tragedy within her life. She was considered by many as just a pretty face past her “prime” and therefore her accomplishments often went unnoticed. She was acutely aware of this, and it more than likely did contribute to her early death, as she struggled with a laudanum addiction as well as losing a child.
She is now getting more and more recognition in her own right within art and poetry, rather than her status as a muse. You can read some of her poetry here. It gives a powerful insight into how she felt.
We often waste an incredible amount of time wanting to be somewhere else, someone else. Our head-space gets clogged with compare, contrast, what if, why can’t, I should. But you’re never getting this time back. You can’t borrow tomorrow. Please don’t save the best for last. The best is all of you, here, where you are, brightly lit and painfully now, in this breath you’re leaving. Each second dies as it is born; every hello must say goodbye; all is fading in the collapsing hallway of a fragile hourglass, a grain at a time. You are here. The best is you, now.
