i’m posting this here because I realized that keeping my projects to myself won’t get me anywhere rsrs, so here are some sprites sketches of a visual novel I’m working on

unlike the visual novel I made before (RIP APOY), this one I’m doing completely on my own, and it’s already pretty far along, i'm excited

and yes, I changed my @/username again

Summoning session goes....wrong...

okay i know this is probably very obvious if you see my interactions with sheep (i only ever live for yohan) but i actually thought joshua was very interesting but to be fair alarm bells were going off when i saw him in the vn (also he flash banged me with his colorful design but i was also in pitch darkness with my brightness all the way up) i was just thinking to myself “man this guy is either going to be the cruelest person ever or the most double sided person.

can you give us some information about him like about his personality and other traits?

(also side note but do keep in mind that you and sheep will probably keep on getting bothered by people asking about shu not being in the game since the yandere fandom is very toxic and i’ve seen it first hand with one of my favorite vn’s getting fully deleted and everything about it, but please remember that once the old version of apoy gets removed the asks about shu will die down! people really have no social skills..)

I couldn’t really think of anything very specific to say, so I’ll just go with the most basic things I managed to come up with XD

But here we go:

He’s half Filipino on his mom’s side and half American on his dad’s side.

He lost his mother, almost had a younger sister, and has a terrible relationship with his father and stepmother.

He lives in a house next door to his maternal grandparents’ place (the only family members he actually gets along with).

He’s a terrible cook (though I think he can at least make a halfway decent sandwich).

He makes money by selling plushies, keychains, and similar crafts online.

His favorite color (surprisingly) is blue.

Even though he’ll talk to anyone who approaches him, he doesn’t have many friends.

He tends to work or draw until his hands blister and his wrists start to hurt (he often loses track of time).

hey uh i know you don’t really like talking about shu because of the visual novel but can we ask about him as like an actual oc and not just a character? if you don’t want to it’s totally fine! i just think he’s interesting!

Yo! First of all, it’s totally okay to ask about him; he’s my little "cotton-candy boy" and I adore him, so I really don’t mind answering questions about him. I just never talked about him because no one ever asked XD The only thing that bothered me was hearing from @sheepwrekty that some people were being inconsiderate about Joshua’s absence from APOY. And I’d like to take this chance to emphasize: my leaving the project was something done in a friendly and peaceful way. There was no fight, and I definitely wasn’t kicked out. So, with that said, I kindly ask that no one bothers Sheep about this; whether with questions about Joshua or with any rude comments. That being said: yes, you can ask questions about him! I’d actually be really happy to talk a bit more about him, so feel free to ask anything you’re curious about. .w.
