nah, tastelessness is its own thing which i contend with on a case by case basis. all jokes aside, i think what im really asking for is “movies that at no point have to spend time explaining things on a child’s level” or alternatively “movies that require experiences with adult life to understand as a story”. i kinda like tasteless sometimes. i love garbage! im a John Waters lover! i also love a lot of crappy adult comedies that deal in otherwise juvenile humor, many of which are definitely lacking in taste

Just saw a petition in a group chat about "don't bring ICE to Europe!" and I felt insane for a minute. We already have militarised borders and concentration camps for migrants and we let people die in the sea and we banish people to unfamiliar countries and we brutalise them and we terrorise them and we detain and deport them!! The UK and the EU are not the liberal paradises we pretend they are!! Our borders kill people!! We don't need a petition to keep US violence away, we need to organise against the European violence we already have!!
