Hiveâs underground; abandoned by the scientists long ago. Failed experiments left behind both living or not were located below the luminous city. Many passageways had created easy movement throughout these ruin. The storm allowed somewhere for those seeking another life beyond living as a test subject to enjoy. One area in particular held lifeforms once human, darkness their homes, Sector 001. Unseen by those living their âNormal Lifeâ these mysterious creatures served a purpose befitting themâŠ
Worthy game to hunt.
Huts from when civilians were forced to have lived under these circumstances remained, left behind and some never touched. Darkness overtook light, senses increasing due to lack of sight. Its area made the perfect setting for what Mitsunari had in mind. A hobby some found most dangerous if shared. Pariah grew in numbers more so every single time this samurai would visit. All the same, as bodies would fall to ground, nonetheless. Countless kills of failed subjects to count since his discovery of District Alpha named Mitsunari among those resided underground as their hero.
Of course, this was not to be confused with heroic acts.
Fast forward, Mitsunariâs usual route encountered double the amount of monsters than usual. All were taken down with quick work of his skill, sword cutting through rough skin. When activity settled the samurai would search for items of important upon their hides, other times lifting whole corpses along for a trip to the surface. Tonight had been one of those nights, large carcass mangled behind and dragged with arms. Survival was necessary for one tending to his own needs. Pariah were perhaps thicker than deer or wildebeest, coats perfect for the skin.
Upon his departure from Alpha, tube connecting Sector 001 to its subterranean second home carried several Pariah along with Mitsunari himself. Fortunately, heâd do away with any refusing to simply enjoy their ride, however, one alone would escape when met to the top. Uncharacteristically, this monster chose to view the outside world with its own eyes. Which, in turn, caused for it to lose its mind in less than a second. Screeches alarmed residents nearby, but speed enough to creep behind one unsuspecting fool who would now suffer from deaâ
Although exceeding human speed and strength, the presence of man having come from â what appeared to be thin air â put a halt to this strangerâs death. Sheathe sounded off total concealing of sword; beastâs head rolling to ground from shoulders. Mitsunariâs inability to keep it tamed would have caused a meaningless mess, his action most likely saving who this person could be.
This was supposed to be fun, supposed to be harmless and just a normal day. Not a day where some monster would be lurking around and decide to cause a rampage. If she knew this was going to happen, she wouldn't have bothered coming down here in the first place.
Oh Naga, why was Hive City filled with not only dangerous people, but dangerous creatures as well. Her wooden sword would be pointless against them, if she had even brought it with her. Maybe from now on she will keep it by her side.
Falling onto her bottom (it seems to be a thing she does often now...), Olivia stared up with her eyes wide. Really, who thought that having people live in the underground would be such a good idea?! It was dangerous, and if it hadn't been for the silver haired samurai, Olivia might not be breathing right now.
A squeak escaped her when she saw the monsters head roll along the ground and she did her best to scramble away from it. It was gross and disgusting, just watching the blood leak out of it made her feel ill. While it wasn't as bad as the Risen, it was still pretty bad.
When Olivia was able to calm her breathing down, and stop her entire body from shaking, limiting it to just her hands, the pinkette looked up at her supposed savior.
He didn't look too bad, and in the sense of looking good or evil, but in how handsome he was... although he was okay in that area -- Gods, she couldn't be thinking about that right now! Standing up slowly, Olivia bit down on her lip and inched towards him. "Um... thank you, sir!"
