FEMINIST the person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.. JANE ELEANOR HAYWARD • SIXTEEN • JUNIOR It seems you have found my blog in this fascinating world called Tumblr. I hope you enjoy your stay. I certainly will be doing everything I can to make sure everything is exactly how it should be. As you can read above, my name is Jane Hayward and I am a Junior at William McKinley High School. This is my first time attending a public school ever since I transferred out of the very low rate performing arts school I was in before. I also attended Dalton Academy for a brief time while before learning that a female will never be treated fairly there.
When it comes to the equal fairness of women, I am a strong believer in it. I will not be silenced. It is very important for me to stand up for what I believe in no matter what anyone has to say. I'm very vocal about my beliefs. I am a member of the student council and I am on the debate team. I am also a member of The New Directions which has been the best thing to ever enter my life. You will find me a majority of time in the choir room practicing for our next competition or working as hard as I can to get the solos I deserve.
If I'm not in there you will either find me with my friends and teammates or my boyfriend, Mason McCarthy. He is the most amazing person and he accepts me for everything that I am, and every girl should be as lucky as I am. Good thing he is mine and no one elses'. We are kind of amazing together, and plan to continuously bring the New Directions to victory in our senior year.
If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them when I have some time between classes and homework. apart of message the gleeks.
Oh bless the lord my chords indeed. The opening night of Godspell was such a success! I’m so proud of everyone involved because we truly worked so hard, and everything came together so beautiful. Mason and Jake were absolutely phenomenal, and I even have a beautiful set of flowers to put into my room tonight. I still haven’t down from the high of tonight at all, so if you’d like you can send me some questions! Or tell me anyting exciting you have planned for the weekend.
Santana: Mmkay, good. 'Cause I already told my boss not to expect me for a few days around then, so I expect to actually have a reason for giving up the paycheck. Even if Schuester wants to lock everyone in a room and make y'all practice all night again. We'll just sneak you out.
Jane: Operation break out. Wait. Does he really lock people up in a room?
Between Godspell rehearsals and classes, and Nationals there has been barely any time to rest. But I’m incredibly thankful for this weekend and I’m hoping that it’s going to result in me catching up on some much needed sleep and my social life which has been dreadfully slacking lately. How is everyone else doing this lovely Friday?
Despite all of the craziness of school and all, I’ve decided to take a break to relax and treat myself. Mom and I splurged a little bit to go get our nails done together after school and now we’re spending the evening watching some cheesy romance movies. It’s going to be wonderful.
I don’t care what anyone says because Fridays are the actual best day ever. School is a bit more laid back which is totes the best and it means the weekend is coming up. Of course my weekends have been spent figuring out a way to convince everyone I deserve another solo for Nationals but that’s just me. Does anyone have any exciting plans this weekend?
MASON: That totally lifted my entire mood, oh my god. I'm back in Cheer, I have awesome music, the best girlfriend ever, etc, etc. Nothing's gonna knock me down.
JANE: I meaaan, your girlfriend is pretty spectacular, huh?
