@messengertobethmoora
Color test sketch version 3-A.
Still eyeing random pieces of fabric on eBay for this.
Sketches for my Messenger to Bethmoora costume. Pages 1-4.
Even at this early stage you can see the evolution the costume went through, from swoopy overlapping mini-capes to an Arabian / North-Aftrican-inspired look. And copious scribbled notes about construction, design, colors and details.
I was also considering having this costume, at least in part, do double duty as The King in Yellow, but I have since split that off into it’s own stand-alone costume.
Who is the Messenger to Bethmoora?
After having been inspired by reading Lord Dunsany’s “Bethmoora,” I felt compelled to sketch out some rough costume ideas. What you, gentle reader, will see here (presuming it is ever completed) is the process and result of my original fantasy costume build.
