I love paintings like this that lose “perspective”. Perspective is such a western idea connected to measuring space and conquering it. This painting on the other hand makes me feel like I’m in nature and it is a quite confined space, which is true being that the biosphere is so thin. In this space I have to protect what is around me BECAUSE I’m connected to it and within it.
