It will not bring back what I have lost, but please, please don’t let the pain consume your heart. Don’t let it be all you are. Don’t let them win. There are people in this world who are waiting to know you and love you. Find your people, protect them. Live with their love in your heart.”

Then the light became a twinkling laugh, bright and happy, and he suddenly swept her up in a hug that surprised a laugh out of her too. Her feet kicked in the air like they did when she was flying. And when he kissed her, she was weightless. In that moment, anything was possible. Dreams really could come true. After all, the stars had aligned to make it so.

And then there's the mystery of the reoccurring name that keeps showing up in all of the books she checks out, always just a little before she gets the chance to… Little does she know just what that name will come to mean for her. Or that the person who holds it will ultimately bring her that much closer to finding a path that is entirely her own to walk. During the monsoons and in between ongoing exams, Katara will come to realize just what her dreams are made of and how far she's willing to go to change the direction of her future.

Or, a Katara-centric, endgame Jetara, slice of life, fluff and feels and happy ending introspective story set in a fictitious town in modern au India.

Be free.” Bug gaped at him, while he went back to whatever he was doing. “But I’m your kid!” “No. You’re a bug.” “But there are birds out there! What if they eat me?!” Dad shrugged. “Circle of life.” “Dad!”
