Announcement! Very Important!

Due to inactivity and the need for more characters, the administrators of the roleplay have been discussing whether or not to do a complete revamp. Not to be mistaken with the reboot we did during summer.

The revamp will mean that we’ll be starting completely fresh. A new main blog, new blogs for you characters, and new everything. Think of it as a new start, a new chance to do all the things you wanted your character to do or an easier way to leave the roleplay!

The revamp will most likely begin later this week, and we’ll be switching to seventh year. If you’d like to reserve your character/face claim then we urge you to do so soon as we will be creating face claims for the characters from now on.

Closing

Everything was different; everything was changing. The great hall had never seemed so empty. The castle had never felt so big. The first years had never looked so young. And yet, Remus still felt exactly the same. It hadn't quite hit them that they had graduated. They hadn't quite accepted that it was their last day at the place they had called home for seven long years. While most had left already, many of the graduated students lingered. They walked aimlessly around the grounds and looked for any final secrets the old castle had to offer. They milked their last days at Hogwarts because they knew they would never get these final days back.

Remus walked up to the girl's dormitories. The stairs didn't turn into a slide like they normally did; there was no need to use the clever tricks that Sirius had come up with in order to sneak into the girl's rooms. He reached the top and knocked on the door of the before walking in. Dorcas sat in the far corner, packing up her trunk for the last time. Lily's record player was on full volume, one of her many Beatles records on the turntable. The rest of the room was empty. Remus walked over to the record table and took the delicate needle off of the vinyl record. Doe looked up immediately to see Remus sitting on her bed. She smiled at him.

"Hey," was all he said. There wasn't much else he could say because there was too much else to say. "Let's take a walk." Doe opened her mouth to protest, but changed her mind. She got up from her perch on the ground and walked over to Remus. She took his hand in hers and they walked outside together. Though Remus knew they school better than almost anyone and could easily cut any route in half, they took the long way out of the castle. They walked in silence, for the most part, as they were taking care to memorize every aspect of the castle, determined not to forget. They walked along the edge of the forbidden forest. The passed the gamekeeper's hut. They glanced in the direction of the unusually still willow tree. They lingered on the edge of the lake.

Doe stopped in front of her favourite tree and they sat down. He put his arm around her shoulders and took her hand in his. She rested her head comfortably on his shoulder. For a while, they just sat. It was perfect, really, so perfect that it seemed as if nothing could ever be this perfect again. They fit seamlessly in each other's arms, like they were two missing pieces of a puzzle. They both knew that Lily and James were roaming around somewhere, no doubt figuring out how to tell their parents of the engagement. Sirius and Emmeline were still somewhere in the castle as well, along with a half dozen others, but as they sat there, it seemed like they were the only two people left.

Remus wished that he could freeze time at that precise moment. He wanted everything to stay the way it was before they had to leave, before they had to get jobs, before they had to enter this war. He looked down at her and thought about how much he loved her and how he would never lose her. It didn't matter that by tomorrow morning they would be leaving Hogwarts for the last time. It didn't matter that he didn't have a clue what he would do for the rest of his life. Nothing mattered to him at this moment. Nothing except for her. He stroked her hair softly as he whispered "I love you," into her ear. He tilted her chin upwards and kissed her slowly.

She pulled away for an instant. "I love you, too," she answered quietly.
