So with today’s fic I’m not 100% proud of it but it will do.
I’ve been struggling a lot with my voice as a writer. I’ve always been “flowery” and I feel my best when I write things in a sort of poetic way. But those pieces that make me so so happy and proud of myself don’t ever really seem to be popular on here.
It’s not the reader fics people want and sometimes I struggle with giving you all what you want vs. what I feel.
Just feel the need to tell you (and everyone) to write what you feel like writing. Even if some people are not totally pleased, well, you have your style and your way to write so just keep it. It’s something precious. Never feel bad because you feel like what you write with your heart and spirit is not really what people wants. I read some (I’m not really into character x reader) of your works and they are really good, I like how you’re writing ! To every fanfic or requests writer, I just wanted to say that you should never be ashamed of what you’re writing. Don’t write for someone else, even if it’s a request, write for you first. It’s the most important part, I swear. And even as a reader, it’s easy to feel when a writer like what he write and when he don’t, and it’s way more wonderful to read something they liked writing. So write something you love, love yourself, readers will love you and love what you write. Because love is the answer ! 😂💕That’s it, love you. Xoxo 💕👏🏻
