Made this flower crown using roses I got for my birthday 12 days ago 🌹 They've been dead for a while, but I thought I'd give them one last chance to be beautiful.. It was interesting crafting a crown with real flowers, and being reminded of how fragile life is as the petals crumbled between my fingers & fell off. Life, art, beauty, love, pain; they're all temporary things. Sometimes that's easy to forget as we try to hold onto things that make us happy, & feel hurt when we have to eventually lose them. Making something I knew wouldn't last forever was kinda therapeutic, & a reminder sometimes we just need to live in the moment and let go. Would love to do more one off pieces like this in future, maybe with some fresher flowers next time 😄 If you're local to Gold Coast/Brisbane & have an event or a wedding in mind, get in touch & lets make some floral magic! 😘

Today makes it two years since my beautiful best friend gave birth to her baby girl. It also makes it two years since I left England, & Ameera was born just before I boarded my flight.
