So I slapped some mathematics on this picture and…

The red lines divide the picture into thirds. They also mostly coincide with the doorway (and Cruz’s right hand), framing him nicely as the Main Character of this picture.

The green line was placed using the golden ratio (the ratio between parts of the picture above it and below it is close enough to 1:1.618). It also goes right under his chin (and through some reporters’ hands or tools).

The purple lines are diagonals that are framing the reporters really nicely.

I’m pretty sure you could also do something clever with a circle and the yellow doorway behind him, but I don’t have the patience to fiddle with that.

Basically, this picture has the same “maths are beautiful” aesthetic as (some well-known) Renaissance paintings.

Thank you for this. Also know that Iris West is white, Adrian Chase is white, Jimmy Olsen is white, Snapper Carr is white, Hank Henshaw is white, Hugo Strange is white, and I’m sure I’m missing some others. But I hope that you take that into consideration before jumping the gun and saying that DC is too “whitewashed” because the race bending happens both ways and it’s also problematic contrary to hypocritical popular belief.

are yall really serious can you really not handle losing 20 white characters out of the 2,000,000 there are do you not see the HUGE disparity between white characters and characters of color, a disparity that’s corrected through racebending how is fixing that huge gap hypocritical??? name one character where whiteness is INTEGRAL to their character, tell me how stripping away what few representations poc have through whitewashing is the same as taking a white character and making them people of color tell me how their character is destroyed by being made into a non-white person how does making a character non-white hurt anyone please do explain it to me because there’s no way I can see racebending as the same as whitewashing because they are not anywhere close to being the same thing
