OG Chica Memory Masterlist
Canonmates Found: Mangle ?
My timeline spans from Fredbear & Friends to FNaF 2, only as Chica / Withered Chica, I don’t remember ever being repurposed in this timeline.
At Fredbear’s there was a lot of vibrant colors, and a lot of balloons. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were the main attractions rather than us four, though that might’ve been because we were still new to the franchise ^^
Even at Fredbear’s Freddy had a squeaky nose, I remember being so jealous of it! 🤭 I always wished I could squeak if I was hugged, but then that’d take away what made him special. Plus, I had Carl!
Once we had our own establishment we had a bumper car section! Bonnie’s Bumper Cars, the cars themselves were in primary colors with the inclusion of purple, the purple and blue ones having decals of Bonnie’s face on the hoods. And the lights were funky too, like in Bonnie’s “Dark Light” mode in Help Wanted’s Parts & Service section! I remember a little boy stood on the hood of his car once, I’m not sure what his goal was but he ended up getting injured after another car bumped into his.
We were all like a little family, even though we were separated during show times. Bonnie and Foxy were very close - Though sometimes they’d bicker during shows and it’d bleed through into down time, over little things like who was more popular among the kids. They’d always make up and be right back to goofing around though! I think a lot of the kids enjoyed when they’d interact during shows, like a little crossover ^^
We’d also celebrate the holidays!! For Halloween we’d get to have our own costumes that would change every year, though more often than not I was some sort of chef. The kids loved to show up in their costumes too!! I loved to see what they’d dress up as, especially if they made their costumes themselves!! They were always so excited to show them off, Foxy was very popular among costumes though and Bonnie being a close second 🥰
For Christmas we’d have a big tree set up too so kids could bring in and exchange gifts!! Employees would bring things in as well so nobody would be left out, but I do think the decorations were my favorite that time of year - fake snow all over the tables, paper snowflakes hung from the ceiling!! And there’d be paper snowmen and candy canes kids could color and hang on the walls!!
At some point we were bolted to our staged and not allowed to walk around the floor, but before that we had little stairs at each end of our stage so we could interact with kids during the day! Foxy would always have an entourage he’d lead around on adventures, and some would clamor to Bonnie for piggyback rides! Some would claim that me and Freddy gave the best hugs though, and a small collection of kiddos wouldn’t leave without a smile unless they got to pet Carl! 🥰
After we were only allowed to move at night, the phone guy would check on us a lot. I think he knew something was going on, but he was a very wary, very cautious sort of person. Even when other employees came and left he was always there in some capacity.
I don’t remember much about the night shifts, but I know right before 12 Michael would play hide and seek with us before his shift would start. When he first came into the building he’d make peek-a-boo gestures at us too ^^! But I think he did that to make things less scary for him, if he thought of it as one big game..
Child Death TW! I believe the missing children were killed and hidden while we were still part of Fredbear’s but their bodies were found once we had our own establishment. I remember the investigation, our stage had been roped off with caution tape and the investigators had our stomach cavities opened while they took pictures of the corpses. There was a little TV in the corner of the dining room, but I couldn’t make out what was being said or what was being shown on the screen. There was very little light in the room too, I think it only came from the doors and windows. Nobody really came back after that, and I think everything got shut down because of it. TW End!!
After our location shut down, we were all scrapped and stored in the FNaF 2 location. By then we were all sort of tired and grumpy, especially in the states we were left in. My arms weren’t always stuck to the sides, but they had very little mobility. My voice box didn’t work all that well either, out of the four of us I think Freddy and Foxy’s were in the best condition.
Freddy would often use his music box in attempt to lift our spirits after being scrapped, and he had a little golden locket he kept in his stomach hatch. It meant a lot to him, and it had a little scrap of paper inside that had something written on it but I couldn’t read ^^’.
We all adored Mangle, they would visit us often and was very successful at lifting our moods. I don’t know if they were how he got them, but Bonnie grew to have an impressive collection of slapstick bracelets. The only one I vividly remember had glow in the dark stars on it, though a good few of them could completely glow!
Outside of Mangle I don’t think any of us were too fond of the Toys at first, but over time I know I at least grew to have a soft spot for them.
