Tribute to my best friend and huge Jake E Lee fan. RIP Richard…

One of my best friends in high school… died way too soon.

I had come up with some lyrics/ideas year’s ago in hopes of recording with a band I would be in… never happened so I decided to throw it at Ai…and it really captured my gut feelings on how I wanted the song to go. “This is not another ballad”

The song captures my emotions the power,and the raw truth. He never let me in on his addiction… he kept it hidden… we spent so much time together,from making air guitars to playing in garage copy bands to going to concerts ( riding on the back of his crotch rocket )to him grilling food for us all the time to setting off fireworks to whataburger runs on school nights and the long conversations to the wee hours of the morning we would have. Jobs together and so much more… so many memories and moments…
