yo friends! i’m fairly sure i’m going to be moving tony pretty soon, maybe as early as tonight or tomorrow morning, because a, he’s getting a new theme and i want the feeling of a clean blog ; b, his following count is waaaay too high and has too many people i don’t write with ; and c, i’m just not happy with his dash anymore! so please like this post if you want to remain mutuals, because i’ll probably be following more selectively on his new blog and don’t know yet who i’ll be following first.

“ did you know you don’t have to sit here and watch my sleeping beauty routine? i’m not going anywhere. ” the words are accompanied by a soft squeeze of steve’s fingers, but tony doesn’t release him. he says one thing, but he, maybe selfishly, doesn’t actually want steve to leave. even when tony is asleep ( which is often ), steve’s presence offers steady reassurance.

so he changes the subject. “ steve, ” he says, taking on a wheedling tone. “ i want to get up and walk around, and no, don’t give me any of that doctor’s orders bullshit -- help me break the rules. c’mon, please, i’ll even let you hover. ”
