"Those who inflict pain are also in pain. Those who never forget will still be forgotten." -- Just a thought.
Dreams fuel delusions of the future
Regrets fuel pains of the past
But whatever machine life is,
It only operates in the present.
"...my monsters is too large a creature. It fights, endlessly, for this land, and the gold in it..."
"...from the morning breeze came something unheard these are the new days, they finally came days of isolation, days of desperation, days of deviations but above all, days of redemption..."
If there's something life eventually teaches us all is that it's pointless to hate our enemies. It makes a lot more sense to just hate the war that turns neighbors into enemies.
If there's something you want to say, lock yourself in a dark room and start creating your art. Then keep doing it long enough until the world eventually notices you. If there's truth in what you're saying, the world will listen to you.
There's more life in these tears of failure... than in all those years waiting for something to happen.
I don't need to be reminded that we once loved
I need to forget that we once hated.
There are dreams that come at night to remind us of who we have to be in the morning.
She held him with her cold hands that night
She knew he would never be one to say remarkable things
But his embrace felt like the only source of warmth in the universe
If he could embrace her in that freezing storm
She knew he was one to never forget when the sky cleared.
They felt guilty for drinking wine in the morning
Then they felt lame for drinking tea at night
They were judged for living too much
They were judged for living too little
They were always judged by those afraid of being judged.
Religion gives us something to believe in the chaos.
Science gives us a way of understanding the chaos.
Art gives us a way of existing beyond the chaos.
Tell me, in storms, that you love me.
~Julia de Burgos
When you save a life, you save the world, they say
that's right, no one denies it
but somehow that feels like just the beginning of something far greater
I guess the key is to love the world
when you love the world, you make life infinite.
So many protesting day and night, yet the outcome never changes. Perhaps protesting is our way of telling the world we won't go down without a fight. Fighting is good. Fighting for something is the artifact that moves a full heart. Fights make us busy. Too busy and too tired to start dialogues.
