Oh! Fireworks, terrible. She almost got hit by one.
A hum as she studies the list in her hand. (She can't read it but she'd had Alphinaud read it to her a bunch of times until she'd memorized it, so that was alright.)
→ visit limsa lominsa → buy one thing that makes me happy → get lost in thavnair → lick an alchemy → see everything in the world
The last one might take a bit longer than she thought...
Holding her juice box and contemplating the shape of the twist off lid.

confused squinting
“I just want you to be happy. Even if that happiness no longer includes me.” (Hermes)
Oh. Meteion blinked, sucking in a sharp breath. She wrung her hands together, frowning. There were squiggles in her chest again–the angry ones, she thought. They felt like the angry squiggles, the ones Lex had taught her were okay to feel as long as she didn't let them tell her what to do.
"You–" Words. Meteion was supposed to use her words when she had angry squiggles, even when it was hard. More so, then. "You did bad things," Meteion bit out finally, staring up at him and wringing the hem of her bright green shirt between her fingers. (Green, like the grass and the trees in Gridania–)
"But I forgive you for doing those bad things. But–I–I don't think I can yet for..." A lot of things, in retrospect.
"You didn't give me the tools I needed for the bad feelings and then you sent us into the stars with a bad question and we didn't know what to do. With the bad feelings. We took them and then they were inside of us and we didn't know what to do. And then–and then instead of helping, you let us do bad things. You forgot and left us alone to do the bad things while you didn't even know what you'd done."
Bad squiggles were exhausting, Meteion thought tiredly.
"I feel bad squiggles at you right now. And Lex says I'm allowed to feel bad squiggles about you. So–so, I love you but there's bad squiggles inside me right now and I don't forgive you for those yet. And Lex says that's okay too!" Another twist of the hem between her fingers as she squirmed.
"This world is nice though. I like it. So–you can't do bad things to it anymore, okay?"
.

Interesting direction of question for whoever Meteion is thinking of. Urianger does wonder what sort of fellows she's had run-ins with with 'eaten by au ra' is a fate she asks about with hope in her voice. Well.
He takes the card, flips it, then nods to himself. "Inverted Arrow. Improper guidance, or misfired shot. I hath no information on if this nemesis(?) of thine hath been eaten, but it seemeth as if they will soon misstep and fail in their venture, with whatever consequences that shalt entail." Poor... whoever it is.
Well, they had encouraged her to hope an awful lot of things. Why not this? "Great!" she chirps brightly, sounding pleased with such an outcome. "Maybe now they won't accost innocent birds!"
Accost is a word she's learned recently from Thancred. She's sure he'll be proud of her for using it correctly. (And she's about 76% sure she's used it correctly this time.)
"Is it mean to hope an au ra eats him?"
"there you are" it seems hermes has sent the girl out due to a rather heated discussion between several researchers. a kind of argument that had azem turn on their heel before anyone could see them. they'd prefer to not get involved in those kinds of fights and have people rely on them to solve this.
they stretch their hand out for meteion to hold and focus on azem's current emotions - cheerful and warm. "I got you some gifts from my latest travels."
@meteorwinged .
"Gifts?" Meteion accepts the offered hand, perking as the new emotions take hold and curiosity rears. Gifts for her? Or were they for Hermes? "What... gifts?"
Oh, maybe it'd be a new snack to try? And maybe she could try it this time? Or perhaps a pet. Hermes didn't think she could take care of one properly but Meteion was sure she could.
...Perhaps a small one to start, just to be sure.
"Show me?"
