I enjoy multiple ships and love all the members. What’s wrong with that?
Are you devote to just one ship? That’s cool too. Just don’t go around spreading hate to other members, their fans and another shippers just because they think differently from you… Or just exist. It’s their lives and it doesn’t affect you whatsoever so let them be.
Also what do you gain from hating the other? Creating hate between your own fandom? Making people feel bad just bc of what they like? It’s messed up to call disgusting (and all those names) to people who just happen to like a certain ship different from yours, but then be the biggest two faced shits and get mad to those who say it’s delusional to think your otp is together just because they’re both male (or female).
This is not what our idols like to see. No one likes to see this. We’re supposed to be together against the world, against those who hate on our favourite group because we love it, we love their music and the members. We’re not supposed to fight between ourselves, but to be together as one, protecting and loving the other. It’s really sad that people forgets that.
And it’s not less awful to think your fanwars are based in assumptions of real people’s lives. Neither of us know what they think or feel so while it’s okay to just ship or like some thing or probability in particular, it’s wrong to harass them, to impose what you like as the truth and demanding content or explanations, create rumors. Who do you think you are? Be respectful of them because they’re people just like you and me. They would hate to see their fans hating each other and they surely hate being pressured and expected to act some way..
I’m not saying shipping is wrong, we all ship to some extent either romantically or brotherly, just don’t turn it into some awful thing where it’s not anymore about support and love but about hate, rumors and obsession.
Let’s just spread love.
