Late post this week, and only got a little bit done. Came up with some interesting and hilarious head canons in the process that may or may not make it into the fic though!

More Planning, Plotting, and Devious Dilly-Dallying
Hey yall! Sorry for the lack of an update last week. It's been a bit rough finding the time to go and write. I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my left ankle, which means even more physical therapy!
Yippee!
Anyway, I was still getting used to juggling two more days of PT on top of the two I already do for my hands, so needless to say I was a little out of it.
On the plus side, I've got outlines for two and a dash on another one done! There's the resolution for the major arc and one minor one left, and then we get into outlining the nitty gritty.
I'm already so excited to get this written and out to you guys! I think you'll really like what I've got planned ;)

Did a little bit of extra work this week! Finished outlining what I want in the first mini arc, and decided which one I want to have follow it.

Day 2, Plot Thickens
Another day, more tea, and more plotting! I've got one arc figured out. Just the other 4 to go. :)
I'm already excited to get this written out! I have some great plans for later in the fic, but I've just. I've just got to actually GET there first.

There's Something In The Wind...
Some of you asked if there was going to be a sequel for New Day, Same Horrors, and I more or less confirmed I had an idea as long as there was an interest in it (I left a hint as to where it would take place: Can you guess the new crossover?).
I'm happy to officially announce that a sequel is in the works, and that plotting/planning has already begun!
Here's a list of everything I'm going to be trying with this one:
More chapters
Multiple story arcs
Angst (I may or may not already have a list called "Bastardly Dastard Ideas" with plot points I want to incorporate :) )
A relationship or two, depends
And more!
And here's a roadmap for the future:
Rough Outline
Involves research and organizing random plot points into something resembling a coherent story.
Draft 1
Taking bullet points and turning them into prose. Hurray side-by-side windows!
Takes the longest out of all the drafts.
Drafts 2-5
Draft 2: going back and fixing plot holes/details.
Draft 3: fixing grammar/tense.
Draft 4: making sure everything flows.
Draft 5: making changes based on beta reader feedback.
I may combine the steps in drafts 3 & 4 to save time, but we'll see.
I don't have a timeline for you all, as it changes with the wind, but I'm thinking about posting chapters as I go this time around. I know this project will take longer, and I don't want to make you all wait too long, so maybe arc by arc?

I originally started writing fanfic again to get back into the practice of writing, with the intent to move back to making video games, but I completely forgot how much I liked it.
I know I enjoy short stories, and want to try my hand at a longer novel, but that'll be a hot min before I do that.
In the end, I want to make video games again.
The question is, do I dive back in to games or continue to slowly work my way back up?

I have officially finished my edits for this fic! Chapter 5 has been sent off, and now I just wait to hear back!
I can't tell yall how excited I am to get this out to you guys! I'm planning on dropping a chapter a week, but if I get too busy I'll just plop it at your feet for you. :)
Thanks so much for sticking with me throughout this journey, but don't think this is the end! I'm still deciding on my next project, so be sure to keep an out out for a poll!

I SWEAR I'M NOT DEAD PART 3 I THINK
Sooooooo...
Guess who got sick again :)
It's been a hell of a few weeks yall. Went to Canada (Yippee!), got sick THE night I flew home (Not Yippee!), called off sick for the first time ever at my job (To be or not to be a Yippee), just generally suffered and focused on surviving for that week (So not a Yippee that ear/sinus infection was BRUTAL-), and am now struggling to finish packing as I am trying to finish moving out by next Friday!
Ya know.
Normal stuff.
Good news though- I have one last pass to make over my final chapter, and then I should be done! I sent to the first four to the lovely @songfrog to be beta-read, and really really really hope I'll have Chapter 5 done by the time they get to it.
Be on the lookout for the final updates! I recommend reading Tomorrow is a New Day by LiraBuswavi first, as my fic is a continuation of the oneshot they wrote.
