“–Eh?! What are you doing?!”
The last thing Koga had been expecting, after all of that, was for C-na to hug him out of the blue. As the girl wrapped her arms around him, there was a look of pure shock written on his expression, and his face grew red in spite of himself- not just the cheek that had been slapped a moment prior.
Just what was it with this girl?! One moment, she was yelling and hitting him, and then the next, she was crying all over his shirt. He just couldn’t understand what was going through her head!
“Jeez, you’re such a crybaby….” With a huff intended to hide his embarrassment, Koga patted C-na’s hair reassuringly. It wasn’t like he could stay angry with her crying on him like this, even if that had really upset him a moment ago. “You’re makin’ a huge fuss in public, ya know. Won’t it look bad on both of us?”
She didn’t care if it made them look bad -- didn’t care if people whispered behind their backs or questioned anything between the two of them, because Koga didn’t deserve that. Sure, he was an asshole and, sure, he upset her a lot with how often he mouthed off, but he was still her favourite. He was still really important to her and for her to just... Go off like that about Rei being superior was unforgivable.
“ Are you that worried about what other people think, Koga-kun? “
She’s not surprised, honestly. Especially not with how he acts up around Rei -- pretending like he’s a lone wolf and that he’s okay with being by himself, but acting up and complaining when he actually is alone.
“ ... I’m sorry... What I said about you and Rei was... out of line. “
