Gender and Books!

So lets talk about how Society tends to put Gender to various things like toys and books. A prime example of what I'm trying to say is cars and dolls. Society put in the idea of cars being for boys and dolls being for girls. The same thing is true for books for example Romantic books are targeted towards Girls while sci-fi and fantasy books are more targeted towards. In my opinion we are all allowed to read what ever genre of books we want to read without getting judge or anything of that matter. The most important thing should be to read not mattering what genre it is or who its targeted to.

Get to know me (Somewhat)

Well hello there! i hope your doing well in this New Year. I'm Andy and I'm a guy whose obsess with books and basically anything pop culture related. I'm from the city that never sleeps New York City. Is it really as cool as in the movies?? well its even better than in the movies. New York City is such a unique place where there's no judgement unless u look really crazy. Its such a fast pace city so if you want to slow down this is not the place for you. I'm 23 years old yes I'm old and yes i still don't have my life figure out yet. I'm taking my life as it comes; no worries. I really want to express my self because i believe i have a lot to share and since i'm not comfortable showcasing my beautiful face (lol) on YouTube i decided to take the Tumblr route. This blog is not only about books its basically more about my obsessions and thoughts on different things that I'm going through. I would really like to have feedback on post i make. This New Year will be awesome i predict that, so come along with me in this Life Journey :)

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 

My Thoughts: Well i thought this was a New Adult contemporary novel but  once i started reading and getting into the book i figure it was to graphic to be a New Adult novel. I really enjoy the characters even thought i found myself wanting to slap and shake the main character Jocelyn and put some sense into her. The romance in this book was phenomenal as a sucker for cheesy romance novels this hit the right spot. It had its funny and really sad parts where i ended up crying :(. All the characters were amazingly written and they made the story so much better. The only thing i didn't enjoy from this book was the sexual tension. It was overwhelming at times to go from a deep emotional scene to rapid sexual tension but i totally understand the use of it since its an Adult romance. Would i continue reading the companion novels? YES i will just because i know that Samantha Young know how to write a heart-breaking and funny romance.
