he’s in shock ; hearing him saying this is just so unfitting. never had he thought that shouji would cuss, it sounds surreal at best. he stares at the other, shocked and not believing that he just heard these words. “ wh— ”

completely unaware of the actual word that passed from his lips,  shouji turned to see bakugou staring at him in complete shock.    brows furrowed and he turned so as to face him more fully.    “    is something wrong??    ”

IIDA.

                a lapse in studying had led to his straying downstairs to stretch his legs, arms raised high above his head. as he drifted closer to the common room, he caught the soft melody that wafted from the space. his steps slow  &  he finds himself CAREFUL in not giving away his approach. 

                what a surprise he’s given when he sees shouji moving to the beat. he’s startled when he sees the other freeze  &  an apology finds its way out no sooner.      ❛    i-i had heard music coming from here  &  curiosity had gotten the better of me. i didn’t know you danced, shouji.    ❜

            it wasn’t as if he was embarrassed to dance around anyone else,  just as he was not embarrassed to eat or take his mask off in public.    it was just something he...    didn’t do.    something that shouji thought he should just be allowed to enjoy by himself when he could.    which was why he froze as if he was caught doing something he shouldn’t.

            fixing his position,  he stood up straight and rubbed at the back of his neck with one of his main hands,  the other going to pull his mask back up to cover his face.    “    i don’t,  really.    just when i’m by myself.    ”

TODOROKI.

  “…if you’re sure.” and if he was quite honest, the contact had stopped being uncomfortable, and started feeling… nice. he trusted shouji, and… it was really quite comforting. that was a selfish thought, though. still, he relaxed, and let his left side get warmer.

            nodding,  shouji focused on the on todoroki’s hand as it heated up a little more.    he remembered when the other was adamant on not using his left side,  and it had been a lot of growth for him to utilize it so easily.    he was grateful for what was being offered now,  unintentionally leaning closer as he felt the heat coming off of the other more.
