I cleaned up my storyboard for my senior animation.
The Adventure Time clip appeals to me because of the art style the creators chose for this show. It is simple yet effective. In terms of editing style, it relates to my project’s vision because of the shots they used. From close ups, to mid shots, and even camera angles. I wish to use their kind of staging in my animation.
a rough style frame that i have so far
my frog’s expression sheet
my character turnaround
more frog sketches
Two thumbnails without borders. One scene is when the fly lands on the frog’s face, the other when the frog is laying on the ground feeling sad.

Story Spline #4
Once upon a time: there was a little frog
And everyday: it would sing to it’s heart’s content by the pond
Until one day: the frog loses its voice
And because of that: it panics and runs away before the frogs notice
And because of that: it shelters itself under a leaf in fear
And because of that (continue as needed): a fly passes by and stops to see if the frog is alright
Until finally: the frog falls asleep only to discover its voice came back
And since that day: the frog doesn’t go to the pond to sing everyday and insteads takes time off every now and again
And the moral of the story is: it’s okay to take time off and rest.
Story Spline #3
Once upon a time: there was a little frog
And everyday: it would go out and play in the forest
Until one day: it got lost trying to return home
And because of that: the frog asks a stranger (a snail) for directions and it shakes its head
And because of that: it encounters another stranger (snake) and it shake it’s headÂ
And because of that (continue as needed): gets discouraged and huddles underneath a leaf while it rains
Until finally: it meets a fly who leads the frog back to their pond
And since that day: the frog no longer needs directions to find their way home
And the moral of the story is: be aware of your surroundings and do not be afraid to ask for help
Story Spline #2
Once upon a time: there was a little frog
And everyday: it would have to go with other frogs to the pond swim even though it doesn’t always want toÂ
Until one day: it decides it wont go to the pond and heads somewhere else
And because of that: the frog goes to smell some flowers
And because of that: the frog goes to then take a nap in a little log
And because of that (continue as needed): it then sunbathes on a leaf but slips off
Until finally: it heads back to the pond and sees no one is there
And since that day: the frog goes off for some me time every once in awhile
And the moral of the story is: if it makes you happy, it’s not a waste of time
Story Spline #1
Once upon a time: there was a little frog
And everyday: it will go exploring for fun
Until one day: it encounters a fly
And because of that: it follows the bug around out of innocent curiosity
And because of that: it travels to places the frog hasn’t gone to before
And because of that (continue as needed): it develops a friendly bond with the fly
Until finally: the bug leads the frog to a pretty pondÂ
And since that day: the frog visits the pond
And the moral of the story is: explore as far as the eye can see cause you’ll never know, you might form bonds along the way
