This is the most romantic stuff I've ever heard
But also, not unrealistic to me? Like he knew he was waiting for death anyway, so it's not over-the-top. Wasn't much chance of returning from exile when the emperor perceives you as a threat.
mark really left Nct to become an average conservative Christian American
Casting Directors letting out a long suffering sigh as Biojei CEO Mr. Cha Segye walks into the audition once again and demands to make out with Seori as his audition for the role of the male lead next to her
I need filthy nasty thirsty my royal nemesis fanfic of not just shin seo-ri and cha se-gye but ALSO dan-shim and the ghost prince eXPEDITIOUSLY
For my pathetic-loser-in-love lovers: check out My Royal Nemesis
Se Gye is *trying* to pull the classic Tsundere vibe but he instinctively obeys the FL's every word, has to turn to the side so no one sees him smile fondly at everything she does and he looks so dazzed when he looks at her you would swear someone has just bashed him in the head and he's no longer mentally present
The most painful thing about her public condemnation of him in the past is that ultimately it made no difference. His brother had already stacked the scales. The dead body in the well, the other testimony. She was not actually needed to condemn him, but she was made to do it in an act of cruelty. His brother saw what she meant to him and wanted him broken, everything stripped from him.
And in this world it's the same, he doesn't just want his place, he wants to totally break him...
i'm glad that his ridiculous behavior never changed
what if you loved a woman so much you were ready to be exiled for crimes you didn't commit so you wouldn't have to watch her cry, and you were ready to drink poison under threat if it was to protect her, what if you vowed to only let go of her only at the moment the whole world would collapse... but when you reunite with her she talks about loving a different person and how she wants you to live so that her lover can live and then promptly gets shot by an arrow meant for you as you both fall off the cliff.
that's 300 years of yearning and heartbreak etched in the soul. no wonder when the memories made their way to Segye they held so much gut-wrenching sorrow and bitterness that it snowed in summer— it's the bitter severance of Seori and Yi Hyeon's tie, which i believe was a transgression to the system and hence, led to the ill-fate. also since their souls are from different timelines, it's probably a union that occured before time.
no wonder Cha Segye is a selfish, jealous, expressive, insane person. that's the unsatisfied soul reclaiming all that fate made him let go in his past life.
The way he shuffles in, looking for his grandpa. Like a lost little kid searching for their guardian when they are hurt or upset.
Grandpa, who raised se-gye in isolation and taught him to never trust anyone's is now watching his grandson helplessly tugging his sleeve for help. Crying and heartbroken because he can't find his beloved.
Ughhh can't believe grandpa did the right thing for once and actually fixed something. Also, grandpa constantly checking up on Shin seo-ri later on feels like he's just ensuring she's safe and that they are happy together bc he never ever wants to see his grandson looking so lost ever again.
she’s trying to be memorable to him by spilling coffee on him and bumping into his car meanwhile shin seo-ri out here getting hit but his car and then beating his ass with a PLANT and then saving his life you are not the same sweetie
Heo Nam Jun as Cha Se Gye My Royal Nemesis ‧ 멋진신세계 ‧ 2026
we're about to see unprecedented levels of downbadism, loserism and yearning that we haven't seen before in this drama (and yes, I'm aware that every week this is true)
*crying*
no, but of course! why would the drama make them all happy and in love by ep 10 if we still have four episodes left? PAIN IS COMINGGGGG
Well, Cha Segye dared to say "It's not like he would kill me" and Mundo was like "Actually, I have something worse." Fuck around and find out, I guess (He remembers the past too, that's my only explanation, cause why is he so obsessed with OTP?). Shin Seori had better be in a coma, because I cannot handle the fact that she went back to the past. I would feel that as a personal offense. I don't want that. And also, if the "old" Shin Seori wakes up instead and she doesn't remember Cha Segye, I am not fucking ready to witness his pain.
On the other hand, Cha Segye's grandpa has been annoying me for some time now but this ep he crossed the line, and I wouldn't mind if he doesn't make it.
If the doctor friend is right and the past and present are not linear and could be happening simultaneously, what does it mean? If the Prince is still alive, can he still end up with Danshim? But what about Segye? It doesn't feel right that he doesn't get to have Shin Seori. They belong together! Shin Seori is Danshim!
I thought this was like The Legend of the Blue Sea, where the present and the past had parallels, but ultimately, there was no way to fix the past, which had ended in tragedy. The present time was a second opportunity for OTP to be together. Tragedy still happened, but they got their HEA. What in the Queen In Hyun's Man is going on here? Someone needs to tell me their theories, because I'm a mess here.
She didn't fight so desperately to stay alive only because he told her to, but deep down, she had been secretly hoping he would one day come and find her. It wasn't merely his wish but hers too why they got reunited. She is a YEARNER too.
The delusions on that grandpa, yeah I'm sure the scheming chaebol family is so full of love and not backstabbing siblings all trying to poison each other and whatnot. Sir, have you paid attention to your own family or perhaps watched a Kdrama?
hmm, does he want her to see THE namsan tower as big as a forearm from his house or HIS namsan tower as big as a forearm at his house... much to think about, much to ponder....
