Had a baby boomer in front of me at the Dairy Queen. She INSISTED she was a Blizzard EXPERT and there was simply NOT ENOUGH chocolate pieces in her blizzard and she wanted to complain to "whoever is in charge". She's going on and on with this teenager. The teenager is calmly explaining they make them all the same etc etc procedure etc etc. But this woman is now yelling at the teen.

So I walk past the woman and put money in teen's tip jar. Haven't even gotten ice cream yet.

Woman looks at me. Turns back and yells some more with the teen. I put more money in the tip jar.

The teen smiles at me. The woman can't think of what to say to me and stops yelling, because I'm looking at her dead in the eye like "atm is over there, I can go all night. The more you yell at her, the more money she makes."

pro tip if youre getting snow and dont have much experience: to reduce fishtailing put 50lb bags of salt/cat litter/pet food on your back tires. it puts extra weight to help get traction

on the topic of fishtailing:

if it starts take your foot off any pedals. do not use gas do not use breaks

do not wildly over correct. slightly turn the steering wheel back in the direction it needs to go. this is still while not using gas or breaks

even if its only mild fishtailing take your foot off the pedals

do not use gas when turning corners. slow down to 20mph or less and then turn with momentum. use gas when straightened out

try not to come to a full stop unless absolutely required. momentum is best when driving along snow. when approaching a light slow to a crawl and maintain a large distance with the person in front of you

if you feel like you need to go under the speed limit then do so. other vehicles will go around you
