This might be a hot take or maybe someone had said it before, but you all need a reality check.
Raya stopped her education at age 12 for obvious reasons. A 12 year old has a pretty good grip on basic knowledge about life, about their body and social rules. Don't you all remember when you were that age? She might be oblivious when it comes to more serious matters or about formal relationships. But having a crush? A 12 yo already knows about that. Basic math? Writing? She might be rusty, but pretty sure the basic knowledge is there.
My point is, write whatever you want, but have in mind she's not stupid. She was being raised to be a princess, a LEADER, a warrior. The guardian of the dragon gem. By no means she would act like she doesn't know anything about the world she lives in, about how her body works or how basic relationships work.
Raya, even from a young age, was mature and well rounded. She’s been in survival mode since the day the Druuns came forth- HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean she’s like- feral???
THere is being a bit naive and then there is being an absolute idiot. Raya may have missed out on normal teen years but that doesn’t mean she didn’t feel anything at all yall.
Yes it’s adorable to think Raya would miss some social cues or maybe not “get” right away that Namaari has a crush on her 😂 but she’s not an idiot! Like OP said she was being raised a leader! (And write what you want- but it’s getting a little crazy now XD)
