Though if you mess with any more of the campers and made them feel in any way like the way you did Finns, I will deck you so hard your great-great-grandchildren will be crippled.”
Miah sighed, rolling his eyes. “I will continue to not SPEAK.” He growled, throat hurting still. “When I’m not afraid my words will get me killed. And I’m most likely going to be alone for the rest of eternity, no children here. May I leave?”
“All you have to do is think before you speak. Just like when you write. Same thing, just coming from your voice rather than your hands.” She sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. “You watch how you’re treating others, maybe get yourself some help from your over-attachment issues, and we’ll wipe it from the board, capiche? And I’m not holding you here, you sought me out. So don’t act like I’m holding you here against your will.” Jessica leaned against her doorjamb, watching Miah closely.
Miah sighed and shook his head. “You really love him, right?” He asked quietly. “I mean... You’re his one even if he’s oblivious to it?” He pressed his hands to the railing behind him.
