“Where have you been?” The vampire frowned, whacking his head with a newspaper. She really missed him, she swears.
"O-Ow--!" He rubbed the back of his head as he placed a cigarette between his lips. "I thought I told you, I went to another job interview." Sadly, he didn't get it.
"Oh dear, what happened.."
When she heard that, Adina could have sworn that a baby bird hatched in her stomach and started flying around everywhere. Damn bird had to chose that moment to be born. But, it wasn’t like she could say no; especially since she had to keep a calm, cool composure. And, had already made a scene about a real kiss so she leaned in, with shaking hands resting on his face—because, she might fall if there was no support—and pressed her lips against his. It was a little awkward at first, since there was a counter blocking their bodies but soon Adina found a nice rhythm, moving her lips steadily against his and whoops was that tongue? She then had to pull away, since oxygen was a real thing and fuck was she lightheaded. “…”
Ah, she was getting closer, and so he took off his shades and closed his eyes only expecting what was a small kiss. Instead it became a bit more passionate than intended and oddly enough he was giving into it, lips moving along with hers, he almost jumped at the moment when their tongues got involved. Pulling away, he scratched his cheek as he stared at the corner of the register. "I see.. well that was a bit.. unlike the previous one."
Mitsuyoshi didn’t seem to be a good mood and she felt that perhaps they should wait for another night. So, the vampire ended up making him some herbal tea. After doing so she went right into the shop and set it in front of him before going into the back so she could settled her hands upon his shoulders. Kalea was quite good at giving massages since she would give them to her brother when he was stressed out at times. “I think it’s best if we stay home tonight. Get the bills done.. drink some tea and rest. Nurse’s orders.”
As he continued to pick which bills were more important, he was getting even more stressed. His attention was taken by the tea that was set for him and he looked up to see Kalea. "I thought you were fixing up that picnic.." As she massaged his shoulders, it clearly helped him as it was by far the best thing he had ever felt. "A-Are you sure? I really wanted to take you out tonight, show my appreciation." And maybe confess his feelings, it's true he actually believes he had fallen for her.. or probably that it was weird how they never established a relationship yet they lived together. "You're way too kind to me.."
“How ‘bout no.”
"You should really learn the value of a dollar.."
“I haven’t had pizza in a long time, but I haven’t talked to anyone in a while, either. It’s a lose-lose for me.”
"Stop complaining. Get a job at a pizzeria."
“Hmm?” Since he was much taller than her, Adina couldn’t simply look over his shoulder so she actually to walk around so she stood in front of him. “Comic books?” She between his face and the glossy covers, a smile breaking out across her features.
"Yes comic books." As he handed them over to her, he was actually quite pleased to see the smile that was blooming. "I remember how much you liked them and how its reflects a relationship with your dad." He was looking through a bunch of old stuff and found them.
If this were any different scenario, Adina would have been the epitome of confidence and told him what she wanted—or better, do it herself. Though, for some ungodly reason the female could barely keep her cool around this man and it was quite annoying. No. She has to do it—for the sake of her sanity. Yes. “You could get even more gold stars if you gave me proper kiss.” Shit were his hands sweating? That was hard.
Mitsuyoshi stared at her for a second, I mean sure this was a different kiss than the ones he gave before. It was sort of confusing, did she want an actual kiss? It wasn't like she liked him or anything right? He wasn't anything special, "..what do you mean by proper kiss?" Ah, how should he do this without getting her mad. "How about this, you do it. Clearly I can't give a proper one.." He chuckled a bit leaning over the counter.
A soft blush came onto her cheeks as she felt his hand upon her crown. It was kind of easy to read his actions. “W-Well.. at the hospital they’re offering a job.. it’s just to carry boxes and supplies.. no medical education needed if you wanted to try there.” Kalea gave him a little smile. “A-Anywhere? Can we go to the beach? It’s nice at night! I can make food and we can have a midnight picnic!”
He stopped at the door and let out a sigh, "That's alright, it doesn't seem like I'd enjoy doing that." Mitsuyoshi needed money, but he also didn't want to live miserably so he tried looking for something he'd enjoy. As he changed his clothes he let out a slight chuckle. "A midnight picnic? That's a bit strange but if you really want to.. then I guess we should go." He never had a picnic on the beach before, it seems fun. "I'll just fix up a few bills and then we'll be on our way." He walked upstairs into the shop and started to work on the bills right away.
She changed quickly, a little grumpy that she was having to put pants back on before shuffling outside and proceeding to rest all of her weight onto Mitsuyoshi’s back to signal her arrival. “Hi.”
He looked through the comics, memories going through his head as he reminisced about lying on his bed and listening to loud music while wasting his time reading a ton of these. "A-Ah.. what's going on. I brought you these."

★ ; Though she appreciated the closer contact, Adina wondered if maybe Mitsuyoshi had problems understanding social interactions because to any normal person it would be obvious that birthday kisses were supposed to be a little more…intimate. “You get a gold star for effort.” She’s turned into the ice queen now—calm down, Adina he didn’t chose the baka life, the baka life chose him.
He was completely confused, it seemed the more he tried harder it just wasn't good enough. "I like gold stars." A chuckle left his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck, poor guy was very oblivious. Unlike his teenage years where he would totally be understanding these hints she threw at him, Micchan now just expects the least that is given.
“I’ve been cleaning all day. I actually cleaned Haru’s room. You can actually see the floor. He’s quite content. Though at first he was fighting me about it. I’ve also been doing laundry. So, I lack the clothes since they’re washing. Did you get the job? I know you were talking about getting another one to support the household.”
"What would I do without you." He let out a small sigh, as he listened to her list of duties she had completed. The moment she mentioned about the job, he fell silent as he didn't really want to come home with bad news. "You know.. I think you should take a break." Mitsuyoshi placed a hand on her head as he walked past her, "I'll take you out tonight. We can go anywhere you want, no restrictions." He wanted to do something special for her.

”You can look if you want to.” Whoops, what she meant to say was “Thanks! I’d appreciate that.” Please notice me, senpai.
"Alright, I'll be outside." He took a small glance once again. As he was outside he pulled out a bunch of comics that he wanted to give to her.
“Welcome home!” If anything was screaming housewife, there she was in just boxers and an apron. It was laundry day so she didn’t have much clothes to wear. Hopefully he didn’t mind.
"Nice to see you, what did you do all day?" He was away at a job interview which sadly failed again, it seemed like getting an actual life-supporting job was miles away. Oh, but was he sure used to seeing her like this, "Why are you barely wearing clothes?" His jacket slipped off and jokingly tossed over her apron.
“Y-Yeah, I…Spilled something on them and didn’t really think I would be seeing you…”
"Well, it's quite alright I'm not looking." Facing a wall. "I-.. I'll get out for now so you can put something on." Quite flustered.
