What are Jax's true thoughts on Gangle? Like i know she likes to bully Gangle in particular but we see moments where it seems like she actually thinks that they're friends almost (like when she says "what? She likes it when i'm mean to her") and ofc the scene with her in Jax's mind

I think Jax takes his complex feelings on his mother out on Gangle, but tries to justify it to himself through delusions that it's not ACTUALLY abuse, even though it is. Most abusers don't ever think of themselves as abusers, and tend to make up a reality in which their abuse is either not that big a deal or it's somehow warranted.

And from Gangle's perspective, she was at a very vulnerable place when she joined, and Jax took control of their relationship. She formed a bit of a codependent bond with him even though it just mostly caused her pain. Losing a friend who frequently hurts you can fill you with complex feelings that are really hard to make sense out of.

also, as asomeone who’s kinned gangle since episode 1 and has been in toxic friendships before(not to the extent of how gangle was treated but still not good) i know how it feels like to still want be friends with someone who treats u terribly due to loneliness and or feeling

like u still need them in some way and that you’d be nothing without them if u broke off the friendship.

wasn’t rlly planning on leaving it up on my blinds too long in the first place tho my blinds folded down due to the weight n the tapestry fell off.

and my parents don’t want nails in their walls or anything they think may damage them/mess up the paint which kinda sucks cuz,

im probably being dramatic here but,

am i the only one who finds it hella sus when ppl call/water down Alastor to “uninteresting” or an “edgy tryhard”?

(especially if they’re glazing non black characters in the process)

like entire character is about having to put walls up and smile all the time and make up an entire persona that’s super threatening meant to scare ppl away all because of the racism he went through at the hands of racist white ppl as a mixed black man growing up during and living through the horrors of a time period where ppl,

killed/lynched,tortured, butchered, and straight up ATE black ppl along with putting us in human zoos and using our hair and body parts to furnish their homes with Alastor possibly learning how to trust others again after over a century of being terrified of any sort of vulnerability.

but noooo there’s nothing interesting about Alastor at all he’s just an edgy try hard that who’s not at all attractive and is super ugly character tumblr sexymanslop that cringey fangirls self insert themselves with and all of his fangirls in existence being abuse apologists who fangirls self insert themselves with and all of his fangirls in existence being abuse apologists who condone his actions for not seeing him as a one dimensional caricature and he also gets too much merch and screen time/sar
