as much as i love pie as much as the next person i do feel like other aspects of the venturiantale world were slept on. 😔 and i dont mean (just) the acachallas. theres the interdimensional bullshit, ghosts n demons but also goddamn murder unicorns and also dragons?? also whatever was going on in Josh's world. and i guess theres the star wars stuff with darth calculus (and other crossover stuff like with the resident evil bits they did) but ive detached calculus from star wars and also i despise the star wars stuff affecting the canon in anyway so thats just me BUT ITS STILL AN OPTION

Sometimes I specifically get nostalgic specifically for pre P.I.E VT for this reason. And I was part of the problem because I was a P.I.E fic writer near exclusively (I do remember writing something about Maddie Friend once... Rip to the OG fan girl tbh)! But tbh I think P.I.E ended up muddying what made VT so special, because before P.I.E, characters would exist around a mod or something and everything would be bullshitted. After P.I.E took off, the videos became too focused on characters first and making lore, and it lost the charm the videos originally had.

I think another aspect of it is that there was less interaction between the siblings as themselves after P.I.E. Like there were character breaks and some moments where they talked to each other of course, but it was really still centered around the lore. It made the videos feel less casual is a way to put it? Idk I am rambling, and I am 23 with a big boy job so idk why I still think about VT lol.
