I yume-ing with Tenna (Deltarune) and sometimes Caine (TADC), sharing is fine, encouraged even. I'm EXTREMELY new to both fandoms so keep this in mind in case I've never heard of a single AU or something.

Okay this one is stupidly long because I decided to go the extra mile and even make a wholeass fucking sidestory during the events of Deltarune so be warned for lots of text/infodumping. Gives some context for the shit going on in the art LMAO. I plan to make a post with just the art separately as well. VERY long infodump below.
Emma is a shark-like monster Lightner residing in Hometown. She works at the police station alongside Undyne and Napstablook but doesn’t consider herself a “real officer”, instead handling the more clerical work like processing reports and taking calls.
She is one of the only friends of the Ghost/Blook family and it is implied she only began working at the police station to try and cheer up Napstablook. She also seems to have some history with Undyne as she mentions she and Undyne went to “school” together (though this could also just be a fish joke).
Given how introverted/agoraphobic the Ghost family is, Emma will sometimes deliver things to their house knowing that none of them enjoy going outside. She tells Kris that she does what she can to be helpful to them since they always seem so "easily forgotten". She seems to be one of the few townspeople they actually let inside sometimes.
When "the nobody" is given Tenna, "the nobody" actually begins letting Emma into the house more often to watch television with them, Napstablook and the irritable ghost (later Pink), whenever the workday is over.
Emma says the baking competition shows are her favorite, especially the holiday-themed ones, though she also enjoys cartoons and gameshows.
Not really sure of the specifics as to how exactly (perhaps a failed attempt to rescue Undyne that Mettaton made up as an excuse to finally get into the Dark World. I do think it would be Mettaton that connects the dots and opens the way in similar to how Pink found a way in), but Emma does end up visiting the Dark World, specifically TV World. However, since Tenna is now located in the Blook household, TV World has changed to reflect that (for example, it’s much more pink now with floral decorations, boomboxes and anime figurines).
She accidentally arrives there with "the nobody" (now fronting as Mettaton in TV World) who has taken the opportunity of possessing a robot body (not his EX one just yet) similar to Pink and her Mew Mew figure (though Mettaton doesn't have another personality to worry about as his robot body is an empty shell). While the two aren’t exactly sure how to return, they figure it's best to take their time assessing the situation, though Mettaton isn’t exactly eager to leave as he is THRIVING as Tenna’s new business partner.
Emma, as Mettaton’s friend, is doing her best to be supportive, but is conflicted because of Mettaton's family.
Her initial dynamic with Mettaton and Tenna is something of a third wheel. Since she and Mettaton arrived together and are both friends/the only Lightners, she is usually with him while in TV World. However, Mettaton immediately begins a business partnership with Tenna and becomes his co-host; now making Emma a reluctant member of the production team.
For a while (unspecified amount of time but probably less than a week), Mettaton and Tenna are LIVING IT UP! They are ECSTATIC to have each other and constantly putting on shows, feeding into each other in a loop of ratings, FUN™, and excitement.
While Emma is happy to see Mettaton’s drastic shift in mood, creative output and ‘hatched egg’ (remember, she’s known them mostly as their old ghost identity which they were clearly not happy with), she still feels a need to try to remind Mettaton that they initially came here to search for clues about the person who took Undyne and whether or not there is any information about getting into the bunker. She also makes a point to remind Mettaton that he has a family waiting for him back in the Light World.
Mettaton, of course, becomes annoyed at the idea of having to “go back” to before, drunk from success and living out his dream of being a star in the Dark World in a body he likes. Tenna notices the two seeming drearier, and while he’s happy that there is someone that finally wants to stay and work with him for potentially forever (ghosts are immortal), his experiences during Chapter 3 have also made him start to question some things; he especially takes note of the fact that Emma is trying to remind Mettaton that he has a family back home who would miss him.
Tenna decides to try talking to Emma one on one more, trying to understand her perspective in all this, considering she came WITH Mettaton into the Dark World. She finally admits that her friendship with the Ghost family means everything to her as they’re the ONLY friends she’s actually been able to maintain, having lost almost every other single person she’s tried to connect with over her life; whether through misunderstanding, her acting out during poor mental health episodes, or just losing touch; it’s clear that Emma is desperate for companionship and a family, even to the point of going along with Mettaton’s crazy plan. To her, the ghosts are the closest thing she has to a “family”.
She claims she’s “terrible for TV” since she never has any idea what people are actually thinking or what people actually want and that she’s unintentionally/accidentally burned more bridges than she can keep track of. She claims she isn’t good at making people happy or excited, just annoyed or tired; sometimes even scared. She also admits that she loves people like Tenna and Mettaton because they just seem to effortlessly bring so much hype and life to the party; she loves how good they are at putting on a fun show that makes everyone so happy.
After finally hearing her confide in him, Tenna becomes fixated on her, shocked to find out how much they have in common in terms of their struggles and anxieties. He likes Mettaton of course; Mettaton gave him a new home after all and loves performing just as much as Tenna does, but while Mettaton is fixated on becoming a huge star, getting a bit drunk off his own success (like a certain mailman once did), Emma is more concerned with trying to help him see some reason. This is something Tenna connects a bit more to and begins to seek out Emma’s company much more than before.
As the two bond, they find out how much they have in common besides their struggles, how sappy they are at heart, their happier memories of happier times, their fears of being outcast and abandoned… She says such nice things to him, such kind words, genuine ones... and oh no, they're into each other now I guess.
Mettaton, who has also been getting pretty "close" with Tenna notices this, and while not bothered, does see it as a chance to try and take the reins when it comes to the show; feeling a sudden need for control as he grapples with the complicated feelings of returning home and whether he even wants that or not.
Anyways things go a little silly crazy or something. Mettaton and Pink have a very similar arc of "no I don't wanna leave the dark world, I'm living out my fantasy here" type shit except Mettaton fights the idea of leaving way harder.
Also Spamton shows up because of the floppy disk Mettaton had in his home that he hoped would have the designs he worked on at the library, unwittingly taking Spamton with him. This also makes things complicated... ANYWAYS- here have some videos that explain it better:
Eventually though, all three (Emma, Mettaton, Spamton) become besties and unite in their love for Tenna or some gay shit like that /pos. Idk... I haven't gotten very far w this.
I think I finally figured out what to call these three... "Tenna's Angels". Or TV Trio. Or TV Gang. I don't know. It's two Lightners and their Darkner pal; that qualifies as a ____ Gang, right?

She'd probably have to be dead, but like Gerson, could probably show up in a Graveyard Dark World/Skeleton Brother's Home Dark World (assuming they kept her ashes) or something. I imagine she'd probably get special treatment from Gaster for obvious reasons... IDK, a lot to think about there

Alright, I’ve been rotating this CRT in my head like a rotisserie chicken since June, and it’s basically Colliholly tradition at this point to put out some x reader headcanons for my character obsessions.
These are kinda long, putting em under the cut! Hopefully I did him justice, tried to get him down as accurate as possible: featuring the good, the bad and the strange. ♡
First, getting the obvious out of the way: He absolutely adores you, you’re the best thing that’s happened to him in a long, long time. He loves the attention you give him and he wants to be around you all the time, and when you’re not physically around him, he’s thinking of you. He isn’t without his faults, though: he can be sensitive, moody, insecure, clingy and emotional. The best way to describe Tenna is intense. His emotions are big and he feels things strongly, whether positive or negative. He just needs a little patience and a lot of reassurance when he’s struggling.
A total romantic cornball at heart. He’s certainly picked up a LOT from all the cheesy romance movies he’s seen! Romantic dinner dates, dancing under the moonlight, long walks on the beach. He’d fantasize about doing all that with you. Tenna loves love.
He can be a bit of a flirt and a tease, too, in his own goofy way. However, flirt back and he loses his composure immediately.
An old-fashioned gentleman. Holds the door open for you, pulls out your chair, gives you his jacket when it’s cold, brings flowers on dates, dresses nicely and puts on cologne before dates. Something caught your eye when window shopping with him? He’ll buy it for you with 0 hesitation, even if you tell him you don’t need him to buy you anything, you better believe you’ll be receiving it as a surprise gift later on. He will remember.
In fact, he remembers a lot about you, even the stuff you say in passing you forgot yourself. Is it bordering on obsessive? Mayyybe just a teeny bit. He doesn’t mean for it to come off that way, he just really cares about you a lot.
Loves to spoil you in general, it makes him feel useful and wanted.
Loves dancing, and is good at it! He loves dancing with you, even if you’re not good at it, he’ll happily guide you. He tries really hard to keep his form shrunk so he can properly dance with you (which doesn’t usually last long).
Would hide his claws and teeth and robot body from you at first, because he’s worried they’re too different and unsettling and he’ll scare you off. (But boy, if you told him you actually liked these aspects of him, you better believe he’ll do a total 180 and begin teasing you with them).
Loves pet names! A huge pet name user. “Star, starlight, darling, dear, dearest, sweetheart, my love.” His employees around you will be sickened by how utterly sappy he is. Will melt if you use them on him, too.
Loves making games for YOU. He eagerly listens to what kind of games you like or have been playing so he can incorporate elements from those games into his.
Constantly doing lots of silly voices and saying movie quotes. I like to think he’s constantly making goofy references and doing voices when talking with you a la Robin Williams or Jim Carrey. Anything to make you laugh, it’s his favorite sound in the whole TV world.
Loves dressing up and doing goofy roleplay with you. He has a whole wardrobe of costumes to choose from!
If you’re ever upset - Tenna is the king of distraction and entertainment, baby, he’s a literal TV. If you’re upset, he’ll be internally panicking and glued to your side and doing whatever he can to help until you’re feeling better. Plus he gets to spend time with you too, it’s a win-win! (Plus, maybe it’s a bit selfish of him, but knowing he can be there for you and be helpful in that regard also benefits him as well. Again, he wants to feel useful and important to you.)
If his relationship with his Lightner family wasn’t an indicator - he’s also very much a caretaker at heart. If you’re feeling sick and/or glooby, he’ll be fretting over you until you feel better, doing everything he can to help. Even if he has to go to work, you’ll be in his thoughts the entire time he’s away.
He enjoys cooking, and he’s gotten pretty darn good at it after having spent so much time watching cooking shows, though he doesn’t have much of a reason to cook when he’s alone (those TV Time executive dinners work just fine!) He loves that you give him an excuse to make food, though, he enjoys it most when you two get to cook together.
Gets jealous easily, unsurprisingly. Spend too much time around one particular person versus him and he’ll start to worry. He wants your eyes and your attention on him! Don’t you know TV is all you need?
This is more of a general Tenna HC, but I think he’s always hot to the touch. CRTs aren’t known for having a good cooling system. Pair this with the fact he’s also simply a high-strung workaholic, and you have a recipe for a very (literally) hot robot. Good for cuddling on cold days.
On the topic of workaholic, he often brings his work home with him. He’ll eagerly want to talk to you about all the ideas he has for his show, or your opinions on scripts or sets, all the way up until bedtime. Sometimes you’ll have to remind him to rest.
Tenna is your hype man and biggest fan! Tenna is endlessly encouraging, especially when it comes to creative pursuits. As a writer, actor, director, and game dev (lol) himself, he knows how difficult the creative process can be. He will always encourage you to create, and if you’re feeling down with art block or lack of inspiration, he can relate. He wouldn't want you to give up. Don’t let him down.
Loves gifting you things with his face or brand on it. His heart swells when he sees you in one of his TV Time shirts, or drinking from an “I Love TV!” mug he gifted you. It makes him feel like he’s yours, and you’re his. It strokes his ego, too, and helps reassure him that you do indeed love TV. I don’t think he’d outright admit to any of these things.
One of my favorite aspects of Tenna is that he’s honestly a bit of a goofy weirdo in a somewhat offputting but ultimately well-meaning way. And by this I mean he will sometimes drop random offhand maybe-slightly-questionable comments around you like it’s nothing. Things like “Huh, you smell different than yesterday!” or “Your hands are so small compared to mine!” unprompted. Yes, if you were a worm, he’d love you, and then proceed to tell you he’d make a worm-sized podium on TV Time so you can still be a contestant on his show. Thanks Tenna.
One aspect of Tenna that’s interesting to me is that, unlike many other Darkners, he seems to pride himself on having (or so he thinks) a particularly special relationship with Lightners, whom he adores. So huge bonus points if you imagine yourself as a Lightner/human here. He loves your hair, your eyes, how soft and squishy you are, how organic you are - Your differences make you endlessly fascinating to him and he can’t get enough of them.
On a related note, I think Tenna has that personality trait of someone who utterly adores their loved ones but can be contemptuous/cold to like, everyone else, particularly other Darkners. This is especially the case if you’re a Lightner in this scenario. He WILL “they asked for no pickles” on your behalf. You will definitely have to remind him to be kinder to his employees.
He has a habit of fishing for compliments and reassurance from you. I don’t think he’s always fully aware of when he’s doing it. Praise and reassurance in general is addictive to him. He’ll eagerly ask you what you thought about his newest show and what you liked about it, just so you’ll sing your praises for him.
If it wasn’t already clear, I think Tenna is far from a perfect partner. For one, I think the iron grip he’s got on his employees partially stems from his fear of being abandoned, and partially from simply not being a great boss in general. He doesn’t intentionally try to be a bad boss, and with you in the picture, he tries really, really hard to be better about this, because he wants you to think of him as good. He wants to be good for you.
Tenna may be the King of Only but he is also unfortunately the King of Scrutinization. No one out-overthinks Tenna. Do you somehow seem mildly less interested in his show and ideas than usual? Or maybe you had to cancel plans with him due to something coming up? Oh boy. He’s going to worry, worry and worry some more. Maybe you no longer love TV like you did before? Everyone leaves eventually, this is no different than before-
Tenna will start to spiral, and if left unchecked, ends up creating a self fulfilling prophecy where he can end up hurting his relationship with you because he’s just so caught up in his head from overthinking. You will have to help pull him out of these spirals when it happens.
Tenna has been through a lot, but he really does love you deeply. Just be very patient with him, and talk to him when something seems off, and give him lots and lots of reassurance, and he’ll be yours forever. He’d certainly want to be yours forever, and I just know he’d try his hardest to be the best, most loving partner possible.
Getting into Deltarune recently has been really weird because I remember YEARS ago when Undertale came out I was pretty deep into it, especially regarding Gaster and now Gaster is like... a bigger deal? which is wild to me
I even used to have an ask blog a long time ago for my fan-made wife of Gaster and mother of the Skeleton Bros who was head of the royal guard who died trying to protect the cowboy child and like... idk it's just crazy to see Gaster again
the blog for anyone wondering; though be warned it's like YEARS YEARS old at this point and I don't really remember how to log back onto the account that has it oops
looking back... honestly... they're still adorable... at least back before she was killed by the royal guards and he got shattered across time and space
just my ramblings/scribbles on trying to figure out spamton some more (I'll draw and physically write down things to help my brain better remember); I only just started getting into Deltarune like... Less than a month ago so I'm trying to crash course myself on shit about the characters that activate my autism extra hard while also throwing some of my own headcanons in.
It's extremely messy and the writing will probably be hard to read but idk figured I'd post it anyways because um... i like character analysis... i like Spamton Gspamton Spamton, i like viewing his journey...
I think I'm just gonna tag posts like that where I'm musing about worldbuilding stuff as "emma deltarune info" because that seems like it makes the most sense lmao

I also updated some of the 'general story' info on Emma's ref posts. Spamton arrives on the floppy disk Mettaton brought home when he tried to get his NEO designs off the library's computer shortly before creating the Blook Dark World. (I'm aware Spamton is currently the dealmaker in Kris' inventory but... idk man let me have this).
I'm not 100% sure how Spamton's talking quirk works if there's no internet though; I guess it still manifested in TV World so it's probably just a part of him at this point, internet or not. I don't think he'd petrify either since he used to basically live in TV World back when the laptop and television existed in the same household; he's probably adapted to that "energy".
Also Tenna was able to keep a pipis despite it being something Spamton, a cyber-city-er, laid. I can only assume it was laid IN TV World...
Man, that's another interesting thing to look into lorewise; addison reproduction. Clearly they come from eggs (pipis) and seem to be able to have children/smaller copies of themselves which I don't know if any other Darkner can do; maybe some of the Cyber World ones can. There's probably lore videos about this stuff, right? I only JUST got into Deltarune so there's probably a lot of info I'm lacking despite trying to worldbuild jdhgsjh
Me only just now realizing the mike trio wouldn't be in Blook dark world OTL Ramb too. There would be Plugboys though.
Actually, I'm probably gonna have to think up designs for the "new staff" of the Blook TV World, it wouldn't really be like the Dreemur one.

Given that it's the Blook house there would probably be a lot of things related to music/music making, anime merchandise of "Cutie Mew Mew Magic", posters for films and live shows Mettaton enjoys, uh... Lots of pink stuff... I imagine Napsta just sort of lets the other two decorate however they want. I think some variation of Sweet Cap'n Cakes would be there given Napsta's interest in music making/editing but would have become less used over time now that Napsta is busy with work at the police station.
Their internet is canonically down in the house (and it doesn't seem like they have a computer given Mettaton having to use the library's) so there probably wouldn't be many cyber-likes. Mettaton does own a video camera so that would probably manifest somehow, lots of VHS tape related ones too probably... Honestly I'm so new to all of this (Deltarune I mean), there's probably someone that's put far more thought into it already.
Elnina and Lanino would be there by proxy as they are offshoots of Tenna. Shadowguys would also probably be there still...
It is interesting to think about how Tenna would be adjusting to all this since this would be the first time since he was presumably bought that he'd be in a completely new house; all the stuff he established over the past 10 years would now be gone (aside from Lanino and Elnina I guess) and replaced with new Darkners and characters.
He'd probably end up pretty reliant on Mettaton and Emma as he knows them from them watching him in the Light World. Maybe Mettaton and Emma end up having a "Mike arc" LMFAO where they have to make their own Mikesonas.
When Spamton arrives, he would probably be pretty opposed to pretending to be a Mike (for obvious reasons since he knows the truth of Mike). Absolutely no idea if he'd share that info with Mettaton and Emma for, again, obvious reasons.
