353 Ball Framed Prints.
1/1, white ink screen printed on GF Smith paper.
During the second month of intern #2 I was given the brief to design 7 inspirational typographic prints centered around a number of different quotes. It's been one of my most enjoyable projects to date, and even more importantly, it was a chance to aid an important charity event.
Together, the prints raised over £1000 in a silent auction held at the annual 353 ball.
Hopefully some better shots to follow.

The One Off — Internship
Came to the end of my intern at The One Off on Friday, it's pretty hard to believe I was there for a full month. Whilst with them I was able to work on a huge range of briefs, involving some big clients such as George, and got to experience the type of work they regularly produce for companies like Primark and Samsung. Alongside this, I aided the company in preparation for the launch of one of their shareholders new restaurants, Amalfi White, situated just down the road from their studio. This involved a massive range of work from food packaging, to building graphics, to menus and in-restaurant artwork. Above are some quick shots from the downstairs area of their (pretty lush) building. Unfortunately, they don't have any full time places available right now, but said they will get in touch when things become hectic again and they could use an extra designer. Excellent experience, excellent people.
Gotham Skylines #1
Not posted anything for a while so here's Batman. Might do a few more in the future if I have some spare time.
A selection of work in our Degree show. Go in and take a look – it’s on until tomorrow!
Final year hand-in is over; lots of Batman related screen printing ensued.
A publication focusing on the ever-growing threat on antibiotic resistance. In response to recent media coverage on the subject warning of apocalyptic scenarios, I explore how antibiotic resistance forms and how the damage can be limited.
New CVs and business cards ready for the Professional Practice hand-in tomorrow. Business cards feature a subtle spot varnish print on the front.
A smaller project which didn't make it on to my new website. Social Confessions asked a number of people to submit an anonymous post about aspects of society and relationships that aggravates them, causing friction. The colours of the cards represents the level of aggressiveness and frustration in the responses given, becoming more red as they go on.
Some screen printed packaging and posters to accompany my R&D experiments
A selection of clips taken from my R&D experiments exploring how objects and materials interact, resist and create friction with each other.
BABE 2013
Bristol Artists Book Event is being held at the Arnolfini over the weekend where UWE is exhibiting third year work in which my ISTD 'Give Blood' is being featured, alongside a new extreme sports zine 'X' produced in collaboration with Kieran Wayne. Some really good work being shown off from across the UWE Graphics Department, check it out if you're in the area.
X Issue 2
'X' is an extreme sports Zine produced in collaboration with Kieran Wayne, focusing on photography capturing the sheer beauty of often overlooked sports. Printed via Risograph at Bellevue Press, Bristol.
My submission for the 2013 ISTD brief Unsung Heroes focusing on blood donation, detailing my donation story amongst those of other active donors.
Thanks again to anybody who contributed to the content of the book!

Screen printing for my ISTD submission
A newspaper I got printed through Newspaper Club detailing the events of the UK Uncut protest against Starbucks in Bristol, 08/12/12. I headed down with my camera to capture the event and talk to people about why they were there.
