Michaels Musings

Caterpillars do not have to go to a Michael Roads Intensive to become butterflies, they have a biological program, as does all of Nature. We do not. We have to choose to grow, choose to transform, choose to reach our greater spiritual potential. We even have to choose to grow mentally and emotionally. Only the physical body grows with just a little assistance from us . . . like enough nutrition. This is where a Michael Roads 5-day intensive comes in! I watch people grow more in that five Intensive days of unconditional Love than in a normal year of daily life. To witness this happening in one country after another is both a joy and privilege. We need to learn how it is possible to constantly and consciously . . . choose Love.

I have been asked to write more about 'timing.' Everything in Nature has a biological timing. Eggs, buds, seeds and butterflies,etc, all have a perfect timing to express their perfection. People, however, seldom take any notice of the timing in their lives. Spiritual inquiry comes in perfect timing for each person. We create this timing, it is not preordained or biological. If we live subconsciously, we delay the timing of Self discovery, if we live consciously, we create the timing. Obviously this has little to do with physical age and much to do with soul maturity. We are the creators of our own lives. Once this moves from knowledge in the brain to a deeper level of knowing in the heart, then we create an ever deepening level of awareness within ourselves. Just as roots draw nutrition from the soil, so we are able to draw universal wisdom into our soul Self . . . and we grow. To create the timing of soul, consciously choose . . . unconditional Love!

We are on the second day of our 2-day Communicating With Animals seminar. Quite honestly, it is easier to communicate with most animals than it is with some humans! No intellect - more intelligence!! It is difficult for people to understand that the physical Nature we see around us is actually the physical reflection of a greater metaphysical reality. We always assume that Nature is purely physical, but this is the least of it - the mortal component. It is the same with us; we are all beautiful immortal metaphysical Beings, but all most people see and relate to is the mortal physical body/personality aspect. We are now in Year 2 since the big metaphysical Change began on our planet - unrealised by most. It is time to live a greater reality rather than continue with the delusions of illusions. How do we begin this? Constantly choose . . . unconditional Love!

 Okay . . . obviously I am far better at negotiating a metaphysical world than I am the physical one. Everyone who know us will smile and say, "Everything's normal with Michael and Carolyn." We are now in Friesland with Nanne and Anke, and it's a beautiful day. Every day is a beautiful day . . . but some days the weather is glorious! Today is Easter Sunday and church bells are ringing all over Europe. Many people will go to the services but I wonder how many will actually participate, compared with those who will be there in body, but with their thoughts and focus far, far away. Ah well . . . Happy Easter to you all. A perfect day to consciously practice choosing . . . unconditional Love.

The sun is shining and hearts are singing. If you have never heard a heart sing, tune in to your own heart. Think Love to your heart and you will hear ir sing. Your heart song will also be transmitted to about fifty trillion cells in your body . . . and they, too, will sing. When your heart and all the cells in your body are singing, then listen from your soul, and you will hear the song. When you are the song you are listening to, the world will sing with you . . . and you will know joy. Simple, huh? It all begins when you consciously choose . . . unconditional Love!

 One of the human problems is that we think too much. We think, and by thinking we attempt to understand. To understand our daily life is good, but to attempt to understand our spiritual path, or the nature of Love is a waste of time. We think ourselves into confusion . . . i think!! Most people intellectualise life, but life is not an intellectual expression. The best way to live our spiritual life is to embrace the Mystery. In this way we transcend the limits of understanding via the intellect, and enter the place of direct knowing, also known as mystical cognition. To KNOW is far beyond understanding.  I've just woken up from a 13 hour sleep! We were travelling - including airport stopovers - for 36 hours. And wow, what beautiful weather in Switzerland, sunny, and actually warm. The day before we left home it started raining. We have had about 350 mls, or 14 inches so far. You should see my smile! Tonight I give a talk on The Healing Power of Love. And the nice thing is that loving and healing hold hands. Not emotions and healing, but Loving. In fact, practically every disease is the manifestation of emotional discord. Dis-ease literally means, out-of-harmony. Unconditional Love is perfect harmony, and harmony erases dis-ease. Of course, this is an over-simplified explanation, but basically accurate, especially on an energetic level. So, every day and in every way, choose . . . unconditional Love! www.michaelroads.com

 Thank you, folks, for all your encouraging and kind comments. My verbal musings are going to be on youtube, so they can more easily be translated and electronically fly! We leave for the airport in an hour . . . it's getting close. One of the energies that I seem to have in plenty is passion. Passion is the fire in the forge; the inner heat and power that transforms. When I speak in public and people connect with me energetically, it is passion that stirs to a higher heat the glowing embers within them. I often see it happening . . . good stuff. Passion thrives and grows when you consciously . . . choose Love!

 Why, oh why, does a video have to freeze on a frame making me look like I am sleeping? Oh well, enjoy my first attempt, none of them will be more than a couple of minutes. Like I said, writing is easier! Tomorrow the roaming Roads begin roaming again . . . to Switzerland. For all the people who want something new . . . I am new . . . I hope you are! Only newness connects with newness; sameness connects with more-of-the-same. And the only place to find newness is in the moment . . . nowhere else. If you and I are sharing the moment together, we connect. Time and distance makes no difference to this while we are sharing the moment. I am being s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d. My gorgeous wife is telling me that I am about to begin speaking some of my musings on a few minutes of youtube. Writing is easier! I can get to correct it. Old dogs and new tricks . . . not a good idea. However, when She Who Must Be Obeyed gets such an idea, I have to do it. Oh sure, she lets me grumble and complain and moan . . . but then I have to do it anyway! She has a brilliant technique that I cannot seem to get around. It's called a 'woman's wiles.' I call it guile in disguise as a beautiful woman. But I Love her dearly so . . . I'll do it. This is what I get when I choose . . . unconditional Love!

I remember as a child my fathers' disapproval of people who did not agree with him. He got rather attached to his disapproval, and it overflowed onto me! While it is perfectly okay to disapprove of something, it is not a good idea to make it a focus. If you become fixated on certain disapprovals, then you will attract them into your life . . . and you will disapprove! I very strongly disapprove of child pornography and pedophiles, but they are rarely in my thoughts or focus. I know it is 'out there' and I support people who campaign against such activities, but I leave it out of my own personal consciousness . . . end of story. If, or when, you get angry over something of which you disapprove, but you take no action against it, then you simply give it your own energy/power. Rather than a disapproval focus . . . choose Love!

MICHAEL'S MUSINGS:

I was watching a woman perform a balancing feat on a youtube recently. It was brilliant, but it reminded me that we are all required to perform balancing acts every moment of every day. Balance is the meeting place between discord and harmony. We do not find balance by seeking harmony, nor by avoiding discord; we find it by taking life as it comes while maintaining our own inner peace. 'It is as it is' allows room for inner peace, and inner peace looks at life through the eyes of acceptance, rather than criticism. This is not to say that we become apathetic about life; we can take strong decisive action while maintaining our inner peace. For inner peace, consciously choose . . . unconditional Love!

 Do you choose what happens during your day? Do you make conscious choices? Do you choose your thoughts, the words you speak, the emotions you feel? For most people, probably not. It is a good idea to spend one day each week being aware of making conscious choices. It's a good exercise in awareness, and the power of choice. If we do not make choices in the present, then we live a repetition of choices we have made in the past. Nothing is a random act. Life as we know it is all about energy. It is either new fresh energy we have just created, or an old energy creation from our past. If you look at humanity metaphysically, we are all streams of energy connecting with each other and situations, many of which we would not consciously choose to be connected with. The way of creating fresh new streams of energy is to consciously choose . . . unconditional Love. michaelroads.com

 Oh dear. my computer is slowly dying. It's only six years old, but they tell me this is ancient for a computer. I'll get a new one when I get home. My computers are all named Rosie, so it will be Rosie reborn! Talking about reborn, be aware that death is the great impostor. Death is no more than a well earned holiday from physical reality . . . then back again to make hard work out of living! It should get easier with practice, but we seem to make it so difficult. I certainly did. Now . . . it's easy. 'Letting go' is one of the prime factors toward being easier. We do get sooooo attached! Love cannot attach, so consciously choose . . . unconditional Love!
