I don’t even think it was supposed to have been that serious of a thing at first. But they both have egos that nearly put our father’s to shame, so there’s no telling how destructive it’ll end up.

Ireland and Hope have decided that they need to ‘bond.’ Which apparently means that they’re both trying to prove that they’re the most impressive hybrid, and between Hope’s ego with magic and Ireland’s ego in general, mass destruction is probably going to end up happening.

Yeah. Oh, really? No, I actually haven’t see all their stuff. I’ve never seen them dance but I’ll probably be pretty close to them.

Yeah. They got a lot of stuff. I know Katherine’s still got nearly a room filled with just stuff for Elizabeth when she gets back, but the three of them got a bunch of stuff for you and the babies, too. I can guarantee you don’t want to see them dance, it’s a horrifying experience. Don’t wish that for yourself.
They yelled...a lot. And it was mostly only effective because Beca the hot air balloon scared me, and August scares me on a daily basis. I guess that don’t think I can be trusted to buy things for anyone or something.

Yeah. Um I just got a lot of gift cards to stores I like. Enzo did though got me five dance dvds because he insisted I learn to dance by the end of this year, though that is not much time at all. And since I absolutely can’t dance there is a problem with his plan.
Oh yeah no, it’s okay. I was just out in town and saw it and you know I had to get it, but no problem. I actually brought it with me so um, here. [Hands him a semi-large box with all inside are sheets of bubble wrap]
Oh, well that’s cool. So I’m guessing you haven’t seen all the boxes of stuff your cousin and August got with Katherine yet. Huh. Well that’s something. I doubt you’d be nearly as bad as Kellan and Isaac are.
[Takes the box from her and looks inside of it] ---That’s pretty awesome. Thanks. I was going to get you something, but Beca the hot air balloon and August yelled at me every time I brought it up.
Um nothing much really. I’m just waiting for New Years and enjoying Christmas presents.
–Which by the way I did get you something and I’m very proud of it.

And if we run into your mom and the others they can’t really do anything about us being involved, we’ll already be there.
…When did this happen?
Nearly two months ago, I think. Alicia told me a few weeks ago that she hadn’t seen her in awhile, and I hadn’t either but I’d just figured she was busy. But then every trail with her scent I found was old...so I talked to Lilith, but she was blocked, which I’m pretty sure was done magically or something since, you know, all knowing, all the time or whatever. But she couldn’t find her. So I talked to Liv, and she tried to locate her with magic and it didn’t work for awhile until one night, which thinking about it now...probably wasn’t a random night for it to work, but I dunno, I’m not entirely sure how all the laws of magic work. But anyway, she said she was in New Orleans, and she talked to Rebekah, and she freaked out and then the other day her and Tatia left, and Caroline went with them and then Katherine left, and I’m guessing she went looking for Mom, but I was told to stay here with the baby and to find Elijah and talk to him, but of course I haven’t seen him. But now Caroline and Rebekah are both back and acting weird every time they see me, and I still don’t know where Mom is.
I–I don’t know. It just…seemed like something he should know about, I guess… –Michael. Everyone here knows how strong your mom is, she’s survived all these years and now that she has you, the rest of your siblings, and Reagan I doubt she would let anything happen to herself for your guys’ sake. She’s a fighter, Michael. You know that. You know her better than almost anyone. I can…try doing some spells but…I don’t even know which ones I’d try.
Yeah, I do know that. But I should be out there with them trying to get her back, not stuck here like some kid. ...Caroline came back. But the others weren’t with her. I don’t know, Em. I don’t know what we’re supposed to do.
…What’s wrong?
Mom’s gone. Someone in the Quarter took her.
At least sometimes you could, though. I’m not allowed to do anything really when it comes to these things because I’m too “fragile”. I can only imagine how it must have been, and how it still is. I know you will. I know if you could you would probably be doing everything you can to get your mother back. Hopefully they did find her, or at least have an idea and they are looking.
Not as much as I’d like to. Not when it really counts. I’m usually kept out of things for ‘protection’ even though I’m pretty capable of holding my own. Who tells you that? It sucks. To put it lightly. I don’t know how much longer my sisters are going to be able to manage without her being here. They know where they were going when they left...I just wasn’t allowe to go with them. So now I’m pretty much just stuck here, while my family’s out there looking for my mother and no indication of when they’d be coming back.
