During several decades of comunism and post-comunism times many beutyful buildings were neglected. Altought Poland has joined European Union in May 2004, the Poles still strugel to restore many of architectural marvels to their prime condition.

The ugliest building in Birmingham?
After two years from scrapping orginal design of a new multistorey carpark at millenium point in Birmingham, work on the new carpark has been completed. The green glazing which made city’s planning committee call the first design "hideous" have been replaced with blue one.
