Thankfully I’m not where I used to be. Almost there.

I’ve been having a really hard time staying motivated lately. It just seems like I can’t do anything to get the scale to move, regardless of how well I eat or how much I exercise. I was honestly about to give up on this journey. I couldn’t see the point of continuing when my body was just not cooperating.

My best friend graduated with her Master’s degree Saturday, May 6th, 2017. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree on May 7th, 2016. Meaning these two photos are almost exactly a year apart. I obviously still have a long way to go, but I now see the bigger picture. I’m going to hit plateaus. I’m going to struggle with mental strength through this. But I have to keep going. Who knows where I’ll be one more year from now? I’d like to be able to see that transformation and be proud.
