💕✨ perspective has been HUGE for my recently. I didn’t even realize that I was spending my days pointing out to everyone else the positive things in life, but I had a really negatively focused outlook on my own. I have had to work everyday, changing my perspective and literally changing the way I see myself and my life, and holy moly guys. When I take a moment, am mindful and realize what I am grateful for, my whole perspective shifts massively! It’s not easy, but life it so much better and more fun when I have just as much love and acceptance for who I am right now as I do for the person next to me. Just got back into the gym for the first time in a while, and not going to lie, I am kind of annoyed at myself. I know that won’t get me anywhere, but it was really apparent today that my fitness level and ability have seriously almost disappeared and it sucks. I am SO happy I went and am going to make it a part of my routine again, so I can get back to where I was and go even farther. Not for weight loss, or looks, but because working out and exercising makes me feel good (mentally and physically). Only thing I can do from here is change and work on myself, and take it every day at a time. Time to get REAL with you guys. The one thing that has been true for me since I started documenting my life on here was being honest, no matter what. Sometimes, when things are hard, that can be really difficult, but if I can't honest with myself and you guys, then I would just be continuing the cycle. That's where I am right now, stuck in a cycle of binging, and then freaking out and restricting before my weigh in and i'm over it. It is honestly one of the most exhausting things I could put myself through, and I don't have the energy for it anymore. ✨ ✨ There are so many other things, productive things I could be doing with my time and that's what I am choosing. Part of me wants to stop posting my weigh ins because I let them create this feeling of anxiety and pressure, but I think it would be a mistake to right now. So for now, I have a plan. ✨ ✨ A plan of not letting myself hold on to these feelings of anxiety or pressure to get back into this cycle that I literally hate. ✨ ✨ I am going to be meal prepping good food for breakfasts and lunch for the next week, and most importantly I am going to be kind to myself and realize that a temporary gain is probably going to happen on monday. But I am not going to LET that define who i am and my self worth. instead I am going to use the coping mechanisms i have that are healthy and don't rely on treating my body poorly. ✨ ✨ Just like in my last post, I need to have perspective and see how far I have come, and that this is just a little speed bump in the road. I know I can get back to feeling good about myself, my body, and my relationship with food and the world with some dedication and determination.
