If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place.
"[I've learnt] not to settle. If you're not happy with a person, leave. And wait until you find that one person who makes you feel good about yourself every single day and is not expecting you to change, but to grow."

A friend once told me (while discussing wines & spirits) to learn about coffees too… " Because you’ll eventually need them, if / when you enjoy too much good spirits."

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
Everywhere. I need to go spend months in Europe and live in New York.
Personal Statement
Theatre and the arts have always been a part of my life. In the past couple of years, I’ve had to sacrifice my passion and love for theatre to work and support myself. I was not afforded the luxury to indulge my soul in pursuing acting again until now. I’ve attempted a Plan B and started attempting Plan C, without giving Plan A (Performing) an honest go. I’m ready to take risks again. I long to tell stories and immerse myself in other worlds through different perspectives and characters, to live the lives of my characters and explore the full range of human expression. I knew from a young age I wanted to be an artist and as I grew up, my passion for acting and performing only grew. My sincere love for this medium has been cultivated through a lifetime of experiences, hardships and passions. This is how I’ve trained and grown to speak to the world. This is my calling and always has been.
On September 30, 2012, I learned my grandmother passed away. With this immense loss in my life, I realized I was drifting further away from my true self. I realized I was repressing my creative self almost to the point where I was on a path of truly losing myself. My grandmother knew how deeply I loved to sing, act & perform. It would have broken her heart to know I drifted so far from that. With this realization, I immediately began to research, plan and integrate arts and performing back into my life. My grandmother’s death reignited and realigned what is important in my life. A personal tragedy served as the catalyst I needed to reassess my professional priorities, reignite my passion and pursue my calling for the performing arts.
I love discovering and unfolding stories while emerging myself into a different life or dimension. I love everything performance represents, including reinvention, discovery, growth, emotional turbulence and complexities. I have never wanted anything as much as I want to be an actress. This is my deepest, strongest pursuit in life. Every other attempt I have made trying to get away from the arts leaves me tired, drained, empty and living without meaning. I wish to experience true vulnerability, growth and challenges. This program would be the perfect beginning of a fresh chapter in my life personally, academically and professionally.
You know how it is, right, ladies? You know a guy for a while. You hang out with him. You do fun things with him—play video games, watch movies, go hiking, go to concerts. You invite him to your parties. You listen to his problems. You do all this...
The past is the present, isn't it? It's the future too.
Eugene O'Neill

argh!
Rejection
Rejection... story of my life. I've dealt with a lot of it. Personally and professionally. It's just a fact of life. What I've learned, is that I rather be rejected than do the rejecting. I can be a cold bitch, but deep down I'm a softie and I hate having to break to someone that I'm not interested. Unless they are a complete douche then I have no problem saying "Um. You should go." Over and out.
I like people too much or not at all.
