Hello everyone! I have managed to find some clean cover art for delicious in dungeon, buried in some promotional italian pamphlet (JPOP Direct)! Some of the files were even separated in layers, i'll put it after the cut

bitches be sucking farts there
Found the source of the infographic that explains how the results were obtained!
there’s sixteen Colorado counties that their most searched was “wolf furry”, plus thirty-odd counties (not counting either Arapahoe or any of the ones marked here as “Insufficient Data”) which may well have had plenty of searches for “wolf furry”, just fewer than for whatever they’re labeled here
and “skunk furry” searches in Arapahoe County outnumbered “wolf furry” searches in the entire state of Colorado
something tells me Skunks Georg
we did it, we created furry gerrymandering
You know how we call things "pseudoscience"... the media analysis that's being done on twitter and tumblr should be pseudohumanities
Romeo and Juliet retelling but it's a married couple who are planning to carve time out of their busy schedules to go out together, but she decides to take a little nap to try to get more energy to stay up later, and when he finds her asleep he assumes she's gone to bed for real so he goes all the way to sleep (I'm talking sleep mask + vaporub + white noise + melatonin, or whatever routine people do for a REALLY good sleep) and when she wakes up from her nap and finds him out cold she just goes to bed too. Tragic 😔
I need to build a collection of these low-stakes Modern Shakespeare retellings

A teenager receives a vague text from his deadbeat father and becomes convinced his stepdad played a nefarious role in his parents’ bitter divorce. He posts increasingly unhinged TikTok monologues about it to a growing audience all eagerly awaiting his ultimate crash out.

hey everyone, just curious:
what is everyone's criteria for blocking people?
on my hands and knees begging people to get a sense of LLM "voice" because this is getting ridiculous. or at least run every substack (etc.) post you're thinking of sharing through pangram first. pls. pls...

the newest sources linked on that page are two years out of date, and it was written prior to the release of significantly better tools like pangram, which achieves essentially zero false-positive rates . you can read about how pangram works here
the thing about "people have talked about it you're just 21" is that it's not really "young people are stupid" it's more "if you come into an academic discussion you should know what people have said on the matter lest you talk out your ass"

Underrated Manga Diaries: Last Quarter
It's kind of funny, though completely accidental, that I read this pretty soon after Aono-kun (potential subject of a future write-up), as they have some prominent overlapping themes.
Last Quarter is an unusual outing by Ai Yazawa, better known for Nana and Paradise Kiss. It’s a supernatural melodrama with some nice twists. Funnily enough, this was translated in French many years before English, so I've read it before (though I didn’t completely understand what was going on, lol).
Teenage Mizuki meets a British musician named Adam, and runs away to be with him, only to meet with a car accident. In limbo, she meets a younger girl, Hotaru, who also had a near-death experience. When Hotaru gets out of the hospital, she apparently runs into her friend again—as an amnesiac spirit haunting an abandoned mansion that has apparently nothing to do with the previous plot. Hotaru and her friends look for Adam in the hopes of helping the spirit, gradually piecing together a concentric ghost story stretching 20 years. Yazawa’s dreamy lines are perfect for conveying the mood. (Apparently she briefly switched back to brush pens specifically for this.) Strangely, the story over-explains itself in the epilogue, right after a sequence where the kids say they don't need to know the logistics behind the paranormal events. But it's still very much worth a read.
Read it if: You like Yazawa's other work; you like your supernatural romances to have a mystery element
