Day 12, Barcelona —> Madrid: Moving out of our Air BnB in Barcelona, back to Madrid, afternoon snack at the Cereal Hunters Café, and a visit to the Museo Arqueológico Nacional.
Day 10-11, Barcelona: Gaudí-palooza. Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and Parc Güell.
Day 8-9, Barcelona: Light-up propellers and gelato at Plaça de Catalunya, a visit to Sagrada Família, and strolling through the Arc de Triomf and Park De La Ciutadella.
Day 6-7: Madrid —> Barcelona, Catedral de Barcelona, Gaudí Exhibition Center, dinner at Hoja Santa because getting a reservation at Tickets was impossible.
Day 5, Madrid: Playground and “urban beach” at Madrid Rio Park, tapas cooking class at the Cooking Point, and someone had their 7th birthday in Spain.
Day 4, Seville —> Madrid: Breakfast at Cinquo Jotas, morning at Parque de Maria Louisa and Plaza España, high speed train back to Madrid, Uno tournament and dinner back at “home.”
Day 3, Madrid —> Seville: Puerta de Atocha station, Seville Cathedral, Carnal Taqueria for surprisingly great pastore, playing by the canal, dinner at Bar Postiguillo and a walk down to the Jardines de Catalina de Ribera.
Madrid Day 2: Buen Retiro Park, Museo Del Prado, tapas for lunch, and a Gallican seafood dinner.
Madrid Day 1: Jet lag remediation, exploring the neighborhood, dinner at San Miguel Market via Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.
Exumas Day 5: Snorkeling the plane wrecks off Staniel Cay, snacktime at Iguana Beach, a new captain takes the helm, and the island doggos we got to play with all week.
Exumas Day 4: Exploring the endless sandbar at Osprey Cay, hiking along the cliffs by Rachel’s Bubble Bath, cocktail hour back at Fowl Cay.
Exumas Day 3: Snorkeling in Thunderball Grotto, petting sea turtles at Little Farmer’s Cay, feeding iguanas at Allen’s Cay, and picnic on yet another in a series of uninhabited beaches.
Exumas Day 2: Petting sharks at Compass Cay, lunch and hiking to Rachel’s Bubble Bath, and another visit to our friends at Pig Beach, NOW WITH 1000% MORE PETTING BABY PIGS!
Exumas, Day 1: Fowl Cay, snorkeling at North Gaulin Cay and picnic lunch on a deserted island, feeding the swimming pigs.
Puerto Rico Day 4: Walking food tour through San Juan. A really nice way to see the historic center with kids who don’t mind a few miles of walking and a lot of food. Frequent stops, bookended by chocolate. (with Flavors of San Juan.)
Puerto Rico Day 3: Paseo de la Princesa, Raíces Fountain near the Puerta De San Juan, visiting the floating umbrella installation above Calle Fortaleza, and cooling off with rainbow piraguas.
Puerto Rico Day 2: Catamaran excursion, reef snorkeling, and a visit to Flamenco Beach. (With East Island Excursions.)
