Non-emergency calls were always Logan’s favorite, though he wasn’t entirely sure why. Perhaps it was simply because it was, of course, not an emergency and thus he could treat his patient without the risk of them, well, dying. Or, perhaps it was simply that he got to travel all the town and outlying areas for most of his shift, something he rarely got to with his typical duties.
He’d arrived at his next house in record time, a nice little job he could do without the stress of a life on the line. He stepped up onto the doorstep and promptly rapped his knuckle against the front time, three times in a slow succession; heavy, but not enough to be an unpleasant sound. “Paramedics, you called for the non-emergency number?”
