Another amazing weekend in the high country.
I am so blessed to have the chance to be in Merrijig, Victoria, Australia for most of the winter weekends this year. And even though, I am here for work, the moments that I have to be a part of the magic that is on offer in a countryside environment is priceless. From the early morning sunrises to the glittering sunny days and the chilly nights warmed with roaring fires, I truly feel that my soul is being nourished. The open space, fresh air and natural beauty of rural Australia during winter is amongst the many wonders of the world to be witness to. Vast plains of grasslands with grazing cattle and rolling hills carpeted in endless eucalypts make for an experience that is so readily available to all of us city dwelling slaves. I urge you to open your mind’s eye, venture from your comfort zone, leave your bubble and awaken the explorer in you to roam the vastness of Australa’s accessible rural regions. Trust me, your heart will swell and your mind will soar with the magic that this land has to offer. Stop being an observer and start being a part of the tribe of weekenders who set their souls free in an effort to get out and about amongst the magic the of Australian countryside. PEACE. LOVE.
