Pirate England here. I do really prefer flat coloring over anything with shading/lighting, but I thought it would be fitting for this. I am also experimenting a bit with his face being sharper as opposed to rounder. I do like him with the rounder face, but the sharper face I think captures his personality better for drawings like this, so idk lol. Maybe I will just keep the angles for detailed head-shots.

For comparison, if you want to see what I mean, here is another one with the angles, and here is one where its rounder. I like both honestly, but perhaps I will spare angles for more detailed stuff. I seriously need to make character sheets for consistency, because as you can see, this drawing is sort of a mixture of elements in both... it's fine for what it is, but I do want to keep things consistent. He's going through a phase...

This is how they met in my game. I have a bunch of screenshots from this game that I want to make into redraws. I found this one funny because it unfolds a whole story in three images and I think it works for these two wayyy too well.

After a month, I have returned. I got a back injury early last month and soon after had to study for finals. Now I can finally do art again... Enjoy another meme redraw with France and England. Someone probably has done this already, but I'm rarely on the web for long, so I wouldn't know.

As always, more to come now that I am not in constant crippling pain and overwhelmed with class work.

i like adding little details that make jolyne and jotaro look similar whenever i draw the two. just cuz it breaks mine and everyone elses hearts 2000x harder and im a proud sadomasochist

overall i think theyd look very similar. enough to the point that, when showed a photo of her dad and compared to her, youd go “oh yeah youre your daddys girl” before watching her get flustered and insulted at such a comparison

both have big pupils, thick brows, the same shape of lips,, i imagine their hair to both be very similar; very thick and at the same level of darkness (excluding her highlights),, both would have very nice thick lashes,, probably a few birthmarks in the same places too,,

i think shed look exactly like her papa. only getting her moms face shape and eye shape. shed hate it to bits for sososo long, though im sure part of her would feel warmth towards it. or something similar to warmth. itd be some of the only proof of his existence, and shed hold onto that firmly

i also kind of like the idea of her looking more and more like her father as the years have gone on. it was pretty obvious his genes were stronger early on, but once she got older it grew to be glaring. and when hed go to see her all those years later, and hed see how much of himself was left in her, im sure his chest would ache a bit
