He couldn't help but to smile. Was this what a miracle from one of his Master's teaches felt like? He wanted to think so. The existence and current presence of a boy that came from the stars seemed just like that. And he wanted to know more. Was this a friend? He hoped so.
— Y-you are a star? Do.... do you have a name?
The boy floated in a circle in the air whilst and then back to a sitting position where he hovered, legs crossed and he looked bewildered for a moment at the question and gave awkward shrug.
He didn't have a name that would be at least comprehensible to mortal ears.
It could wait until other conversation topics were covered, since she wasn't one to touch down if she could help it.
Besides, the topic of her life's work always took a bit of explaining to someone who didn't grow up on the planet. "Children lose their teeth naturally. The teeth they have when they're young fall out to make way for sturdier teeth in later life." She gave a soft smile. "As for leaving the gifts, it's a tradition I've been keeping to for an age or two."
Star listened curiously, his mouth in an 'o' shape as she explained. Humans were such FUNNY creatures! They're so weak when they're born that bits fall off them to grow new pieces that are stronger? How funny!
'Its nice of you to do that! I don't lose ANY teeth!' and he showed her his big smile and grin, teeth practically glowing like the rest of him.
The redhead followed the light, eyes wide as he tried to figure out what it was. Some sort of bird? No, birds didn't glow. And this one was too big to be an insect that was certain. Then what? What could it be???
And then, it came close to him and Quasimodo could see what it was, the bell ringer took a few steps back in complete awe. It was a boy! A glowing boy! How amazing! Could this be some miracle? Or was it his imagination acting again? He wouldn't know and wouldn't care at the moment.
— Wow! — Quasimodo said. — What are you?
The boy beamed at the stranger's reaction to him, eyes wide and sparkling with wonder. Something that he never tired of seeing!
At the question, he moved his hands, manifesting the stardust that made up his form and the area around him and shaping it into a star shape and wafting it towards Quasimodo, letting it dissipate as it touched his nose.
A ringing sound akin to giggling as it happened.

Quasimodo thought of himself as a young man with plenty of imagination. After all, it was necessary to have one when you lived alone in a tower with very little contact with the world outside. But never once had his imagination made him see a star coming down!
He followed the trace of golden light, running after it once it headed to the bell tower.
How fascinating!
By the corner of his eye, he saw his gargoyle friends moving too, trying to see what the commotion was.
After the light darted and danced about, excitedly exploring the surroundings, it finally stopped and the whole thing seemed to shift and move into a form that seemed a little more familiar.
Then suddenly, there seemed to be a boy floating before the bellringer, a big grin on his face and floating closer and closer towards Quasi's face.
She laughed as he darted back behind her again. "I meant when they're still, it's a little easier to see that way." Her chin tilted up to keep an eye on his signs.
"I do! I take the baby teeth that children lose and leave under their pillows for me, and leave them gifts in exchange. I've been doing it for a long time."
He had been to excited to realise she could actually LAND, well, so could he, but why would he walk when flying was so much more FUN!?
The Star listened in fascination as she explained, resting his head on his hands as he floated, a big grin as she talked.
'Teeth? Why do the children lose them?' he signed, confused but still smiling despite it. 'I didn't think you get gifts if you lose things.'

/ Honestly been debating on actually giving Starboy a name, but like, a celestial name that he was called by other stars. It wouldn't be one that WE would consider a general name, it would be in their language, which doesn't make sense to human ears.
So the question is... WHAT WOULD IT BE???

It was Tooth's turn to zip around him, chuckling at how excited yet comfortable he seemed to be with his self assigned little mission. The world could hold unfathomable adventures through eyes like his.
"That's very true. Care to understand anything besides just my wings? Which I can give you closer look at by the way, if you're interested!- I'm a decent teacher."
He made an excited 'O' face and floated back upright again, turning around to examine her wings as they flitted.
'They're very beautiful,' he signed and floated above her head, hanging upside down over the top of her. 'I'd like to learn! You're a tooth fairy! You take teeth?'

The redhead look up at the night starry sky. Another day up in his tower, another day with nothing but the gargoyles and the bells to keep him company. He liked them! They were not bad company, but he once again had caught himself wishing he could go into the streets. Talk to other people maybe.... be accepted?
No, he couldn't. He was a monster.
Just to think of that made his excitement for the upcoming Feast of Fools dim.
— If only I could go there just once....
In the heaven's above, a spot of magic heard the wish and it was a fascinating wish indeed, enough for a young star to come flying down in the night sky.
At first it seemed like nothing but a shooting star in the night, but then it got closer and suddenly, there was sparkling ball of golden light flickering around the young man, an ethereal chiming noise following in its wake. It flittered around the boy, almost playfully, before shooting inside the bell tower behind him and dancing around the bells, slightly making them chime with a little tap.

What was it with gold stars and not speaking? Was his lack of verbal communication voluntary, like Sandy's? Would it be rude to ask?
"Oh?" It's true was what you would call unique, so it made sense to her that the star could sense her magic. "What sort of thing do you hope to find while exploring? An interesting place, or person?"
He was floating on his back now, hands behind his head as if he was lounging, grinning from ear to ear as she spoke before turning and signing his reply.
'Something new! Everything is different down here! Theres so many things to see and try and understand!'
