What an interesting vacation.
I'm so sunburnt though...
Becoming Daddies || Gabe and Albus
Gabe smiled back, still thinking about the implications of the new arrangement. They’d have to decorate another room pretty soon, and it would mean buying more clothes for the boys but it wouldn’t be a problem. Gabe took the unnamed child in his hands and thought for a little bit. “It needs to go with Morietz because my family has a pretty stupid surname. How about Alex? Alexander Morietz… Maybe?” He didn’t want to mention anything because he knew Al would say yes just to make him happy, but it was his grandpa’s name and it just seemed to fit the little boy in his arms.
Albus knew that taking in another child was going to cost the Morietzs a lot more money; but it was worth it in Albus' opinion....and it wasn't like the Morietzs weren't doing very well, they were rather wealthy. "Heh, I love your surname. Better than Potter" He laughed a little and then nodded "Alexander is perfect!" He said excitedly. "Alexander and Ethan Morietz. Perfect" Albus said with a happy tone and leaned over to kiss Gabriel on the lips, and Alex on the head. They were both so precious and adorable. Albus sighed a bit internally, knowing that the press would not leave them alone. Even though he had gotten married and no longer had the surname of Potter, the press still wanted to always know what their family was up to.
Becoming Daddies || Gabe and Albus
“You won’t. I won’t let you.” He pulled Al’s hand up to his lips and kissed the wedding ring on his husbands finger. Gabe looked across to the two little boys and realised that he wouldn’t be able to make a choice. “Al, remember that you’re allowed to saw now if you’re not cool with this, it’s absolutely fine because I need us to be 100% sure before we agree to this. But I think we should take both of them. I know we didn’t agree on it, and we haven’t prepared but we have the money, I work from home anyway so I think we could do it. But it is a lot considering they would be out first children. It’s up to you, what do you think?”
Albus' face lit up when Gabriel suggested that they take both of them. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. True, its going to mean double the work, but I really think we can do it if we just work hard enough." Al blushed a little and kissed Gabe on the cheek. "We'll have to think of another name" Albus chuckled and looked to the blond child "I think he should be named Ethan. And...well...what do you think our other son's name should be?" Albus asked happily and reached out to pick up both toddlers, handing the orange haired one to Gabe, and holding Ethan close to him.

“You’re going to be a brilliant dad too. I promise.” Gabe knew how nervous Al was. Gabe had grown up looking after his younger brothers and sisters, and his father was a great role model. Albus still had issues with his family and Gabe knew that it made his husband worry. Gabe wrapped his arms around Al, “Everything is going to be perfect. I promise you.” When they went through, Gabe listened carefully to consider their options. Throughout the process, he’d been the more logical one and even though he would like to take home every child in the building to care for them, he had to think about the challenge for two new parents.
"I hope I don't screw up" Albus said softly in a small voice. He didn't want their son to be distant from them like Albus was to Harry and Ginny. Albus listened to the social worker talk about each child's medical history, and both seemed like they would be good fits for the Morietz family. He smiled a little bit at Gabe "Who do you think should join our family, love? To be honest, I'm happy with either of them. They both seem like they will be great additions to our family" Al really wanted Gabe to decide because Albus was no good at it. He took his husband's hands again and looked into the eyes of the person who he fell in love with as he waited for a response.
Becoming Daddies || Gabe and Albus
Gabe looked up at the building, smiling to himself. Today was the day he had been waiting for. Gabe had always loved kids, but his siblings were all too grown up now. His elder sister had kids, but they had moved to America and he didn’t get to see them often. He was ready to be a dad and ready to share the experience with Albus. He smiled down at his husband and squeezed his hand. “Always. I love you. Ready to be a daddy?” He started to walk forward, taking them into the building for the final meeting before they became parents.
Albus' smile widened "Bit nervous, actually" He admitted and looked up at him. Gabe was so handsome, nice, and caring. "I love you too. You're going to be such a brilliant father. I'm lucky to have you with me" Al said softly, still sounding nervous. "I'm ready as long as you're here with me" Al kissed his cheek again and followed him into the building. AL went to the front desk and they were led into a room where a social worker was holding two adorable toddler boys. One had very light blond hair and blue eyes, the other had soft orange hair and green eyes. Al thought they were the cutest boys in the world, and really wanted to adopt both of them; but didn't know how Gabe would feel about it.
Becoming Daddies || Gabe and Albus
Albus was nervous to say the least. After what seemed like forever, they were approved to adopt their son, who they decided would be named Ethan. Al was nervous because he didn't know if he was going to be a good father; but was comforted by the fact that he knew Gabe would be so great at it. Al squeezed Gabe's hand and looked at the adoption center building. It was here that they had arranged for the pick up for their new son. Albus smiled softly at his husband, hoping that he too was excited for the new addition to their family. Al knew it was going to be a lot of work, but he was up for the challenge. "Ready?" He asked softly and placed a gentle kiss to Gabe's cheek.
Gabriel
It is possible sweetie.
It clearly was.
So...we should go then, yes?
If you say so, love.
Gabriel
I love you too. Ethan Morietz it is then. We can go whenever you want sweetie.
Yep. Innocent about your arse.
So...let's go now! I mean, if its possible and everything.
Ummm, no way it was innocent, mister.
Gabriel
I just had the guts to set up a business from our shed. I like Ethan.
That was perfectly innocent.
You're just amazing, Gabe. And I love you more than anything. Ethan it is then! Now we just need to go to the adoption agency!
Innocent my arse! Hehe
Gabriel
There’s not much to it. It’s just recognising symbols.-laughs- I like Mini Al better. But lets be serious. It’s really, really soon.
You know, that potty mouth will have to go around our son dear.
You don't give yourself enough credit, Gabe. You're pretty amazing. Hmmm, Ethan Arthur, Cade, Zane. I'm so bad at names.
I know, but you started it, commenting on my arse and everything~
Gabriel
You’d be able to do it easily. Thought of any names?
I beg to differ there love.
Meh, I don't know about that. Languages were always my weakness. I don't think I'm smart enough to be a cursebreaker, like you. I haven't yet, how about Gabey Junior? *grins*
Well yes, I suppose that's true by the way you go at it. *smirk*
Gabriel
Don’t worry about it. It’s only really basic translation so it won’t take 5minutes.
I think it’s because you have a really nice arse.
It'd take me forever. You're so smart. Aren't you happy we got approved to adopt our son? We just have to go and actually adopt him.
I don't think my arse is thaaaaat great. *kisses his cheek*
Gabriel
Don’t worry about it. I’ll just rewrite it at some point.
Sure, I’ll pop and get you some soup in a bit.
Let me do it. You work too hard.
Thanks, love. You're too good to me. How on Earth did I get so lucky?
Gabriel
Awh sorry. I lost some important paperwork.
Why don’t you curl up and get some rest?
Its okay. Did you find it? If not, I can come and help you find them, love. Depends, will you curl up with me, and possibly supply me with soup and love?
